“Soundgarden was filming a video for ‘Louder Than Love’ and I broke the mic stand. It was a metal AKG mic stand, and the broken end somehow ended up going through my knee. And it was like a cookie cutter, just sort of punched out chunks of my knee somehow. Like the WHOLE chunk came out. So blood was kind of squirting out. Uh, and the director got it all on film.
