Eddie Van Halen (1955-2020)
One of my guitar heroes and such an amazing force in all of music. His contributions to a whole generation of guitarists across all genres will never be forgotten!
Thank you for your service to music, Eddie! You will be missed…

“Soundgarden was filming a video for ‘Louder Than Love’ and I broke the mic stand. It was a metal AKG mic stand, and the broken end somehow ended up going through my knee. And it was like a cookie cutter, just sort of punched out chunks of my knee somehow. Like the WHOLE chunk came out. So blood was kind of squirting out. Uh, and the director got it all on film. He ran up and wouldn’t let the medic guy touch me ‘cus he wanted to film it, and they didn’t cut it into the video, which I was disappointed.” — Chris Cornell, 66 Second Interview Video
