Scenes like the Ethan scene should be coded based on romance points. As I said in another post, there is precedent to this. Antony’s final 3 diamond scenes (chapter 19, 20, 21) are only available if you romance him. Antony has the romanced route and the villain route.

Now obviously Ethan isn’t a villain or possible villain. But he is in a position of authority over the MC and a potential mentor and that power imbalance can be very uncomfortable for people and by book 3 there should be an option to have a purely professional relationship with him. I am not saying all Ethan diamond scenes should be locked to his route, but scenes revolving around sex and a need to control? Hell yes, those should be coded.

what gets me is that in book 1 everyone was so supportive of mc, the friend group even participated in pulling it off and even the characters who were critical of the protocol breach situation understood wanting to help mrs martinez, now sudenly everyone is like "mc? that little cunt who breaks protocol all the time? smh what a deliquent 😪"

Naomi tries her hardest to ignore the alarm clock at her bedside table, reminding her of the fact that she’s even up at this ungodly hour. She’s tried almost everything she can do short of taking sleeping aids. The room is pitch black, she downloaded some dumb app that has various white noise settings, she drank a cup of chamomile tea, she counted backwards from 100, and nothing has worked. She’s still wide awake.

She wants to blame the fact that she’s still full of anxious energy about adjusting to being back at work, but she’s been back for almost 2 weeks, and the worst has passed. She can also say it’s the pregnancy woes, making her uncomfortable—and they are. Her body temperature is slightly elevated so she’s hot all the time, a side effect no one warned her about, she’s up and down to use the restroom all hours of the night, the nausea still sneaks up on her at times, and the swollen feet and sore back are killing her—but that’s just an easy cop out. Naomi knows exactly what’s keeping her up: Ethan Ramsey.

Or imagine being 14 or 15 and having your close friend attempt to rob your house and watch your DAD shoot him? And then being manipulated into thinking that it was for the best?

A high school freshman today would've been born in 2006. 2006. An actual baby. Point is, they were both young as FUCK and neither of them should have experienced that and it sucks that neither of them probably received any proper care or trauma treatment after that and obviously it's a taboo topic so they've been living for three years with these internalized traumas. These children.

i wasn't sure before whether i liked or not the format for a very scandalous proposal (i mean with all the chapters available at once). now i've come to the conclusion that i don't like it.

i really love the story, but i like sharing my feelings and theories and reading what other people have to say about it. yet i can't do it because i'm scared of finding spoilers in the tag so i kinda have to play alone and it kinda sucks. like having to binge watch a whole new season of a show on netflix just to be able to discuss with the fandom without being spoiled.

oh, and there's the part where there's just too much money to be spent in a shorter timeframe, so that sucks too lol
