Two Pans and a Pan Halal Lamb Platter
For months if not years, I (a pansexual individual) and my dear friend (another pansexual individual) have joked about the cooking segment we could have together: Two Pans and a Pan. At present, I am embarking on a cooking project of friend-sourced recipes, and with some massaging of meaning, I am delighted to bring you: Two Pans (the cooking kind) and a pan (the me kind).
The first recipe– a Halal Lamb Platter suggested to me is an excellent example of why I took on this project. My own recipe knowledge is, if not nil, minimal. Left to my own devices, I would repeat the same few-week cycle of dishes that I know, enjoy, and can make in bulk. This lamb platter is a dish I never would have thought to make unprompted, as I have never cooked any Middle Eastern cuisine, and neither have I made lamb before.
Making turmeric rice was a simple endeavor, and the act of dumping a bunch of spices and veggies in a rice cooker is something I should endeavor to do more often. Similarly, the lamb requires a simple process: tossing all the ingredients into a pan (the cooking kind).
Would Make It Again Out of Ten Rating: Would Make It Again
This pan (the me kind) hopes you have enjoyed this first installment of Two Pans and a Pan. With any luck, I'll provide post like these weekly, with my trademark humor and cringe-worthy puns about pans. Speaking of which: until next time, may all of your pans cook as well as this one ;)
