This got long because I’m just on the train and my headphones are dead so you could almost say that I……..have time……..to kill……..
Mason was on for an ensemble track, and was having a LOT of fun. During Max and Lucy’s meeting he was 2nd level with Ashtray and Nova, until Slash appeared and literally pulled him away from them to have a VERY ANIMATED argument. Pushing, foot stomping, the whole nine, before Slash shoved Hans offstage. At one point did Slash reach out to touch Hans’ cheek?? Before the fight continued? Idk it sure looked that way but I could very well be hallucinating boardwalk polycule potential at this point.
EDIT: I FORGOT THIS UNTIL RN in the comic book shop Hans stole a comic book and ran out the store, flipping the owner the bird on his way out before slamming the door. The owner, who was talking to ashtray, didn’t even get up, just gave the most OKAY WHATEVER??? Middle finger after him. This man has been dealing with Frogs all morning he’s OVER IT
Sax Man picked up supernova and did body weight squats holding her. I mean. Holy shit. Jesus Christ. Etc. right after having his hand on Smoke’s knee AGAIN!! Is he lowkey giving nova a run for her money as most chaotic lovergirl on the boardwalk???
Ali wasn’t committing too many crimes tonight. It was a very playful David, very happy to be cracking jokes with his boys. Vampirism is FUN being a vampire is FUN Michael what’s not CLICKING?
Notable exception viz a viz crimes: ADDING BODY ROLLS to SCO when he’s on the platform, around “the questions that haunt you will all disappear” maybe? I was looking respectfully idk what you’re talking about.
During “guess your dad taught you more than just how to ride” he put up his fists to mirror Michael’s fight posture and did a lil playful shadowboxing. David he knows you’re referencing his physically abusive father you don’t…..have to do all that.
I was wrong in retrospect there’s a lot of crimes that happened actually
When Sam comes down under the pier and goes “….full of freaks,” David’s eyes were ON HIM and he did the most sinister big smile, eyes on Sam until Max’s line. Gave “stay away from my brother” a lil different flair.
Marko took his guitar back with a very huffy THANK YOU VERY MUCH energy. Very funny.
I have publicly said I think David wanted to keep Michael when he gets punched in the face and not a second before. But I am more and more obsessed with David’s reactions to Michael during belong to someone, which ran vaguely so: (David is orchestrating the boys’ flight looking happy) “I want a love” (David realizes Michael is looking at him and reaching towards him, his face falls, looks a little surprised/shocked) “that can slow down time” (he reaches towards Michael, palm up) “that lasts forever” (Michael turns away from him, David turns his hand over to reach after Michael as though to pull him back) “and never dies” (David lets his hand drop, looks shaken)
So that’s a lot for me to process
But on the subject of the punch David gave a big pause on “how would you…….” And then seemed to sort of waffle before going on. Like he’s working through it in the moment and is maybe surprised by what he’s saying himself. FUN!!
Okay that’s ENOUGH ABOUT HIM FOR A SECOND
When Michael opened the door to Max there was a LONG PAUSE before “GOT IT.” Perhaps because Paul had the flowers in front of him, and also upside down. Real ones know, this was an act of violence on Paul’s part.
during the frogs dinner when Alan puts the dustpan back on the kitchen table he accidentally let a lot of grandpa trail in front of him and Edgar across the floor. Edgar visibly clocked it first, and then nudged Alan, and they HASTILY grabbed the pan and cleaned it up again before the scene ended. V funny.
When max goes “I know what this is about” and everyone goes YOU DO??? Alan really grabs the brush and dustpan like he’s gonna stab max with them. I like this even more than Paul trying to shishkebab Michael.
When Lucy is laying down the law Sam silently was clearly arguing back, big gestures, etc.
During NMM reprise Star lifted her leg to sort of wrap around Michael’s. I don’t want to say she was riding his thigh but like. It did. Look like that. It shouldn’t be possible but I KNOW the sex was good but Jesus I need yall to FOCUS.

When David died he smiled at Michael. Staggered towards him and ALMOST TOOK HIS HAND??? Then turned and mouthed Star’s name before he fell.

LJ flubbed the line “everything I’ve gotten wrong/I may not ever get right” and it was “everything we’ve gotten wrong,” to inexpertly and inaccurately quote @ohaubergine GOOD! DONT SHOULDER THAT INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBILITY MICHAEL IT ISNT URS TO CARRY LET THAT LOAD DOWN
personal side note I did a two show day with Rocky Horror Show, a combo which I think filled up my bisexual powers for another full year. Highly recommend. Tho a 3pm matinee of Rocky horror is…….strange to say the least. I just feel I shouldn’t see these things in the light of day and as a sober person I CERTAINLY need the altered state provided by it being midnight. Still. No ragrets.
Also David is everywhere for those with eyes to see it, tho he simply would NOT crash out the way Frank does when he catches Rocky and Janet together. Apart from being mad he didn’t get the invite to at LEAST watch.
