okay so my local theatre did newsies for their last show for the season so here's what i have to say

- after all these years of newsies i TRULY never realized how often davey/katherine interact and i love it???

- so letter from the refuge was gayer and sadder than its ever been like on god... so what they did was while crutchie is singing they had jack be out there as well while holding the whole letter and reading it at the same time and when i TELL you i try not to talk during shows but i literally said "on god" out loud..

- the last show i was at (yes i went three times because i'm gay) the cast had come out and signed stuff (jack, katherine, crutchie, les, race, spots and oscar, davey) and so we were signing stuff and the WHOLE cast yelled at the kid playing race and he goes "im all beaten up, i can't move that fast" BITCJ

- they didn't have a lot of the original dance moves which was said but the stage was hella small

- the set was unstable and it made me nervous because my shows have such amazing, sturdy sets..

- this spot conlon could punch me in the face and i'd be greatful

- one last thing,, the kid who played les was like 7?? and he's been in the local theatre doing their past 7 shows i said and i OOP-
