Have you ever heard of the Addams family? I was thinking of a reader who personality is like Gomez Addams, treating the sanses with unmatched chivalry and adoration, affectionately calling them Querida and Cara Mia. The reader would love macabre, but is very optimistic and loves sword fighting. Oh and being madly in love with the skeletons.
(One of my favorite scenes is when his wife, Morticia Addams, says a French word, and then he grabs her hand, raises it, and begins planting rapid-fire, loud, exaggerated pecks starting from her fingertips or wrist, all thr while flashing a broad, enthusiastic smile between kisses. I love how madly in love he was with his wife sm! )

I’m getting better! But the way I SHRIEKED. I grew up on the Addams family OG shows and movies and I had such a kid-crush on Gomez😅
He’ll adjust eventually but you fluster him soooo much. Watch him burn people with his blush when you kiss his hands, stumble over his words with every nickname, and become horribly embarrassed every time you get loudly affectionate in public. He does quite enjoy watching you practice with your fellow sword fighting enthusiasts, and can’t say it isn’t very attractive how you go completely feral whenever you get to see his rare moments of anger. Your optimism and boldness is both inspiring and infuriating in equal measure.

Sweet mercy, why are you so hot. His smoothness has no defense against… well, all of you. How’s he supposed to handle all this genuine obsession blasted at him?! Sparing with you quickly descends into flirting with weapons and he almost always looses 😅. Can’t keep his attention on the fight when you’re constantly catching him off guard with complements. Having you cheer on his more violent tendencies might not be the best for those around you, but it’s a nice ego boost for him at least.

Finally! Exactly the lover he deserves! He receives most of your attention with smug ‘grace’. Your boldness is certainly charming, and your obvious love of his macabre nature is definitely a bonus, though your optimism can get a tad annoying at times. He indulges your enthusiasm for sword fighting, and though he almost always kicks your ass, he can’t deny that you always make the spar fun regardless. It does take him a hot minute to adjust to all the physical affection though…

You two match each other in the best and worst ways possible. Your support of him is definitely reassuring. He’s certainly more violent than you are, and has a lot more trauma-baggage to bring to the table, but otherwise you’re two peas in a cheerfully obsessive pod. He will say that he’s a lot more interested in cuddling than sparing, swords or no. Can he follow you everywhere and give you all the nicknames and scare off anyone that gets too close to you?

He has a sword fighting, slightly insane s/o who’s actually that head over heels for him.

You’re unfairly cute. Like, seriously, he just wants to squish your cheeks and ramble about how much he loves you. All this energy and devotion for him, and you don’t even expect anything in return! He’s not used to this sort of relationship. He quickly becomes infatuated with how you treat him; it matches how odd the two of you are! Just… no sword fighting in the house, please.

Since June is over and July is here, thank you so much for participating and showing love!!! ‘‘Twas a crazy month.. All the art and writing, no matter how small or done briefly, was so so good... very beautiful <3 and delicious. Fern and I geeked out about them!! Im soso happy and hope everyone had fun with the challenge event!
