Really, she only hoped that Haru would be okay, even without local heroes to fight the beast.
“I dunno, rumor has it a giant six-headed dragon appeared in this town a thousand years ago, and a bunch of other monsters appeared to fight it and protect the town, but I doubt a single werewolf would cause enough damage for them to come back.” Astra replied, shrugging his shoulders and trying to keep a straight face.
Maybe he was having too much fun with this, and if the girl decided to ask literally anyone else in town about his story she’d learn that the monster attack only happened a couple months ago, but it wasn’t like Astra expected her to try doing anything about the werewolf. He only wanted to spook her a little.

If he was serious, she could certainly take on the beast in order to protect the innocent people of this town, but she hoped that he was joking. Although, she would likely be in Pikarigaoka for the Halloween festival by that time, so there was no actual need to worry about having the holiday rudely interrupted.
“H-have you actually seen it…?” she asked.
Yes! Finally someone actually believed him! Just when Astra had started to think he wouldn’t be able to mess with anyone before Halloween. This girl even looked pretty spooked already, perfect.
“Of course I have! It nearly bit my hand off last year, it was pretty scary.” He replied, grinning and crossing his arms. “They say he can be seen any night in October, but his powers are strongest on Halloween, and if he bites you at midnight on Halloween, you’ll be cursed!”

“I don’t want credit, I want you to replace my candy! I don’t care if you’re supposedly famous or not.” Considering her boyfriend is also famous, she’s really the last person to care, Astra.
“Why should I have to replace your candy!? It’s just candy, why can’t you buy more yourself!?” Honestly, he didn’t even mean to eat someone else’s candy in the first place, and he probably would have been more willing to replace it if she wasn’t being so rude about it.
