Today I'm two weeks away from my 2nd #SlimmingWorld birthday. It's been a bumpy journey but I feel like I have finally triumphed tonight after lowering my original target a year ago. Tonight's awards: 2.5 stone award #slimmeroftheweek (for the first time!) #TARGET All on top of my 3lb loss which means I am 1lb under target with a total loss of 2 st 9.5lbs. Biggest sense of pride and achievement at the end of a mammoth year! Some pictures from yesterday after completing the London Marathon 2016. Very proud of this achievement and also more proud of how much we have collectively raised for @meningitis_now It was a fab day with support from all over the UK as well as across the globe from friends abroad. Thank you to everyone for their support, encouragement, donations and love over the last 11 months since I announced I was doing this. There was one constant driver throughout my marathon (even after injuring at mile 14.5) and that was my mum @elainegoate . It was her tenacity and love of life that helped her win her battle against viral meningitis in 2012, and it was that same tenacity which helped me push through to complete the marathon.
