“You really like that shirt you wear, don’t you? Almost all of your clothes look like that.”
“Just don’t like shopping. Too bothersome. Grab the same shirts in one go.”
“I see. Well, but since I do want to shop now, why don’t you buy some new clothes too?”
“Don’t like to choose them. It’s bothersome.”
“Well, that’s up to you, though. I just think it’ll be boring to just go shopping with me when you don’t buy some for yourself.”
With that, Virus back to his own activity, fingers combed at the shirts arranged in front of him, took one before put it back and took another. He repeated the same thing until he took one, with the color grey, and moved to the next part of the shop. But Trip didn’t move, instead, he took the very same shirt, the color grey, and held it in his hand.
And the same thing happened in the jacket section, and trousers. Virus would decide one or two clothes, and Trip will take the same thing with him. At first, Virus didn’t bother, but in the end he asked.
“You just took the same thing with mine. Why is that?”
“You just said I should buy for myself. Choosing them is bothersome, so I’ll just grab the same one with you.”
Virus raised his eyebrows, this time with a little amusement in his eyes. But he didn’t comment anymore. “I see,” said him, and he just go to the registry with that.
“I’ll have menu A, and orange juice for drink, please. What do you want, Trip?”
“There is no cake here, Trip.”
“Because this is family restaurant and not a cake shop.”
“Just choose anything in the menu.”
“Then I’ll let you order the same menu with me, if that’s okay with you.”
That was the start. In the end, they’ll always go that way. Virus won’t bother to ask anymore, he will just order the same thing for two every time. Not that Trip will disagree with him.
“Your shoes. They’re broken, the sole loose. How can you even wear them like that? Looking at them start to irritate me.”
“We bought them in the same day, how can you break them so fast?”
“To think of it, it’s happened to all of your things. Shoes, bag, even toothbrush. You like break things that much?”
This time, Trip grinned. “Maybe,” he said, “Well, we can just buy a new one, can’t we?”
“It’s true. But I’ll prefer to keep them good so I can use them for longer time.”
“Well, that’s you. I don’t really feel like to keep things good. Just wear them as much as I like until they broken.”
It’s true they’re not poor. They can literally buy any expensive things, so it’s not like Virus bother with that habit of Trip to break things easily. This thing amused him a little, to be honest. They’re just so different. Virus would prefer to keep his things to be always in its best condition, treat them good, but when he already bored with them, he will tossed them easily and not bother to use it again. Trip, in other hand, just does the opposite. He likes to use or wear the same things again and again, keep wear it until it’s broken and can’t be used anymore. He’ll just shrugged, muttering ‘ahhh, it’s broken’ and tossed them away.
Well, to be honest, if we put it that way, Virus was worse than Trip like that.
“What do you think, Virus? Lookin’ cool?”
Virus blinked. When Trip said he has something to do and didn’t go with him today, he was kind of curious, but didn’t bother to ask why. Now he knows why.
In front of him, Trip looks the same with him. Okay, he always wear the same clothes with him, but that’s more because he just too lazy to choose them himself. But now, he just dyed his hair blonde, just like Virus, and combed it to one side, just like Virus.
Not that it’s bother him, though.
“Why you change your hair to looks same with mine?”
Surprisingly, Trip just shrugged. Like usual. “Don’t know. Just feel like it.”
“You just feel like want to looks like me?”
“Maybe. Well, I do always wear the same clothes with you, though. So I thought ‘well why not make my hair looks like Virus too’ and then it’s just happened, I think.”
That didn’t really answer Virus’ question, but it’s not like he really curious. So Virus just murmured ‘I see’ and didn’t bother to ask more. Well, not like it’ll hurt him.
“They keep saying we are like twin.”
“We don’t even have the same face.”
“I don’t really like it, though.”
“Got mistaken as your twin.”
That was surprised Virus, since that phrase comes from Trip’s mouth.
“Well, just don’t wear the same outfit with me, then.”
And don’t fucking mimicking my hair, that was not said loud.
“You don’t like it, Virus?”
“Not really. But you don’t like it, you said.”
“Hmm, that’s true. I’ll do something about it.”
And by ‘doing something about it’ it’s not that Trip really change his looks. But he does change some of his clothes. They’re too random, though, since Trip not really enjoys shopping clothes by his own, so mostly they’re just chosen messily. Trip still kinda wear the same thing with Virus, like same jacket, or same vest, but it’ll be different in some aspects. One day, Trip wear a black hoodie under a same vest with Virus when Virus himself wear a shirt under it. One time, he just chose different color shirt with Virus. When Virus asked him why he doing that, he just shrugged, again, like usual, and said, “Habit.”
It’s already become a habit and he can’t just wear a totally different clothes from Virus now, that’s his answer. Instead, he just makes it different in some way, but in the end its still feel same.
Virus must agree that Trip is kind of an interesting one.
“Aaaah, Trip, you hurt him.”
“I know it’s your habit, to use your things until they’re broken. But please remember this time it’s not only yours, Trip.”
“I know. That’s why I’m sorry.”
Trip shrugged. “I’ll be careful next time.”
Virus approached a figure, a young man with blue hair. He was so thin, leaned powerless on the black-cover bed, blood smeared on his pale chest. There was so much blood, but not that much to make the man die. At least that far it’s good. Trip can still be forgiven.
“Aoba-san, are you okay?” Virus put his hand on the said man’s chest, examined how deep his wound is. “Hang in there, I’ll treat your wound.” Aoba winced; a soft moan escaped his lips when Virus touched his wound. It must be really hurt, this way. Not that Virus didn’t enjoy Aoba’s expression, but he didn’t want him to die that easily. He likes Aoba, he loves Aoba. He still not bored with him, so it’ll be not good to let him die before he bored of him. He is not Trip; If his things broken, even though he still not bored with them yet, he will just shrug and not really bothered by it. But Virus, he is different. He doesn’t want to lose his things when he still attached to them.
“At least wait until I bored with him, until that time, you should not being too much to him, Trip.”
“Hnn. So bad, there are so many things I want to try with Aoba. But it’s not really that safe. Yeah, I know. I won’t let him die. Don’t glare at me.”
“But when will you bore with him, anyway, Virus?”
