"You look a little lost. Do you need directions?"

Jonghyun’s eyes widened slightly at the sound of a slightly familiar voice. ‘Wait…’ he thought to himself and turned to see the taller male to his side. “Me? Lost? Not anymore! You found me!” A wide grin came across his face as he carelessly threw his arms around the taller boy. His voice came out in small mumbles of “it’s been too long” and “I’ve missed you”

"He’s one fine piece of China. Of course, I end up lusting over women all the time because my god they’re beautiful. But… when I see Tao, it’s like nothing else matters. When it comes to any thought of a relationship, I can’t get him out of my head." Jonghyun closed his eyes and let out a long awaited sigh. "Anyway!" he said and sat up, holding his weight on his hands in between his legs, swaying a little like a child. "Enough about that! How about you tell me what you’ve been up to? I wanna hear about you since you let me ramble so much~"

Wufan covered his mouth to cover his gummy smile, chuckling at his strange friend's choice of words. "Me?" Wufan sighed and sipped more of his drink, leaning back against the couch. "Well.. mine got away from me." He didn't have to look at Jonghyun to know that his jaw was dropped and he was at loss of words. He hasn't changed that much. Instead of letting him waste their time with nonsense whimpering and complaining, Wufan decided to continue. "I met this girl. I have to say, she was just beyond amazing to me. It was like the perfect encounter. I was able to... I found more inspiration to film. She smiled so widely and had such a kind heart despite how damaged it was. She ran this.. antique candy store and opened her heart and time to the children and other customers that came there. She even had a cat so she wouldn't be so lonely when it was just her. I don't know what it was exactly, but when I looked into her eyes and saw so much worth watching, filming and taking in.. it was like she would be the easiest person to fall in love with." Wufan sighed and finished the rest of beer from the can in his hand. He rested hunched over with his forearms supporting his weight against his legs. "I can't get over how beautiful she really was."

Jonghyun ended up giggling like a child, the alcohol clearly not being any help in the matter. “Yes! He’s so special like… I can’t explain it!” Jonghyun started laughing, slapping his knee. “He’s just… for one thing, he’s seriously realllllly good looking! Like, every time I see him, it’s like he’s this beautiful being that I could spend the entire day staring at. I don’t wanna talk about that though!” Jonghyun waved his hand around dismissively, stopping to drink more. “What made me realize he was different is just how I was talking to him, he’s… inexperienced for lack of a better word, and yet he’s so willing to understand things. And! Did I mention his touches? I swear, whenever I hug him, it’s like everything fits perfectly, and when I was lucky enough to kiss him, I started getting those butterflies in my stomach and my heart was all racing around him and!” Jonghyun seemed to get louder and more excited with everything he said, “When we kiss, I feel that spark I always heard people say they feel when they’re in love!” Jonghyun threw himself to lay back on the empty part of the couch, rolling slightly while laying before throwing his arms out to his side and laying limp. “Man. I’m whipped. What has Tao done to me?”

"Mhm," was all Wufan said, nodding with every more excited thing Jonghyun said. By the time he was done, Wufan was still smiling and had finished about two more cans of the beer. Once he heard Jonghyun quiet down, he chuckled and gave a light pat on his friend's tired out leg. "You're like a school girl again. It's been a while since I've seen you that way. So it's nice; I'm happy for you." He paused for a moment. "Tao?" his eyebrow raised, "Chinese? Hm. I guess it was only a matter of time."

Jonghyun giggled like a child, chugging down the rest of his drink. Once he was done, he smiled playfully like a child in a candy store. Even though it was more like he knew a secret. “That’s where things have turned. It’s like you wouldn’t even know me!” Jonghyun placed his arms seriously on Wufan’s shoulders, leaning in and trying to say in a normal voice. “It wasn’t a girl. It was a guy.” The serious personality wore off soon and he ended up laughing loudly, throwing himself over to grab another beer, quick to start drinking from it. “I met this guy, and I gotta say…,” he started and threw his head to the side, looking up at the ceiling in awe, “it’s like he’s changed me somehow.”

Hearing the first time "guy" came from his friend's mouth, Wufan stopped for a moment. He had to make sure he heard that right. This woman crazy man-slut he once knew as his friend... changed for a guy. The second time seemed more confident and Wufan couldn't help but smile widely, happy for his friend actually feeling something other than emptiness. "So... this guy has something special?" He kept slight eye contact with his friend while he bent down to get a beer for himself. Wufan carefully opened the can and took a small sip. "Tell me more about this guy. How does it seem like he's changed you?"

"Yes! Ugh you always seem to know!" Jonghyun laughed excitedly, plopping himself down next to Wufan, making himself at home and handing his quiet friend a can of beer. "Just like old days," he said, raising the opened can of his own, as if giving a toast. Jonghyun took a long drink from the can, and his body slumped down with the back of his head resting against the couch. "So. You know how I moved and started trying to get sober, right?" Jonghyun didn’t wait for a reply and waved his hand around, trying to get on with the story to get to the important ones. "Well I was able to cut back here and there, and met these great group of supportive people. Then! I gotta tell you something else. Jonghyun perked up and turned in his seat to completely face his friend, leaning in seriously with his voice lowered. "You remember the number of women I’ve slept with right? and like the number of women I’ve completely loved and tried to win over, right?" Jonghyun had to bite his lip to stop himself from smiling too much.

With a small smile, Wufan nodded and opened up the can of beer for himself. He returned the motion before taking a drink as well. Of course, it was just a sip at first. He turned to listen to each of Jonghyun's words. His eyebrows furrowed when he started talking lower, and Wufan had to lean in. It took almost everything in his power to stop himself from rolling his eyes and telling Jonghyun to hurry up and get to the point. "I know how many; we were best friends, remember? Did you..." He tiled his head with a small smile. "Did you finally meet a girl that made you wanna change your ways?"
