every hatchetfield project has a background character named rollerskate guy with 2 lines of spoken dialogue and 3 total minutes of screentime comprised solely of him rollerskating across stage and flipping off the main characters, and then theyll announce a spin off called rollerama where rollerskate guy is eaten alive by an eldritch god as consequence for his hubristic desire to be the best skater in hatchetfield (his father left after he lost his first skating competition and he's been chasing his approval ever since). rollerskate guy is played by joey richter.
I can't believe home depot literally produced a wildly successful science fiction musical and we all just pretend it didn't happen. on one hand yes it had a boring white guy main character but like.... home depot just... Made it? And it had shit ton of box office sales? and no one even talks about this. this is like avatar (2009) all over again
OK so. After a lot of frantic googling I realized this was all a dream. home depot did not in fact produce a wildly successful science fiction musical. I was on allergy meds and took a nap and my brain simply prophesized this. slightly disappointed because I wanted to watch it.

Watched the guy who didn't like musicals in London a few weeks ago. It was fucking transcendent. Have been very normal about it since
It's inevitable for us~
Watched the remount. The amount of times I've seen this musical over the years is starting to get concerning.
Sometimes you hear a song and a fic pops into your head full formed. This is a trap. The fic may be fully formed in your brain, but you still Have to write it down. This is an important step that most people forget about.
it's called the whether because it depends
~Did you hear the word?~
It’s time!
Technically not all the posters are done.. YET!
But if I start posting the ones I have I’ll have no other choice but to finish them!
Thank you everyone who has engaged with these over the years, it truly keeps me motivated to keep drawing them time and time again. I have come to see these as snapshot of the time. It’s fun to what brushes and techniques I used then.
"lock in" is probably one of the most important phrases to enter the public lexicon in the 2020s
My fake son learned the alphabet today. I’m so proud of him, in theory.

Happy Pride Month to those two women dancing together in the foreground of the boat scene in Godzilla (1954).
I’m sorry your romantic foibles were overshadowed by a big ass atomic lizard thing.

Oh man, oh man. I've been going through some ancient hard drives (New Years resolution) and found some of the oldest digital photos of myself. Enjoy what 20-25 years of age - with 15 of that being on HRT - does to a guy.
Age 23 vs 48, lmao. Back when I box dyed my hair a dark auburn. To be fair, I think all of us who lived it as young adults glowed up from the year 2000.
26 vs 48. Same coat, only it finally fits properly in the shoulders! I think I had just seen Matrix Reloaded and that was me playing around as my OC. 😅
26 vs 48. I'm still kind of scrawny at 20+ lbs heavier, but clothes fit so much better now.
Me at 28? Just starting to be able to afford the tweedy look. Man, I miss those shoes. I still have that coat, though no recent photos of it, so we'll close this out with one of my favorite pics of me from last year, age 48.
Found a few more where I'm dressed in similar clothes with similar poses.
I bought this coat in two sizes because I loved it and was worried I'd grow out of it on HRT (which was still 4 years away at this point). And I was right! Size small vs medium. Age 29 vs 48.
I've had the armor for my Sam Vimes cosplay also for about 20 years now. (Though I changed out the helm.) It's very funny that these could be seen as a Young vs Old Sam cosplay from Night Watch. 29 vs 45, I think.
I've also been hiking for a long time now. I still have that hat, but it's a bit tight on me now. 28 vs 48.
It's a shame that the even older hard drives I have ended up bricking - who knows what treasures are on them. (Though not worth it for me to pay for recovery services.)
Queer joy detected!
every time you make art of any kind, a stat that is not visible to the player goes up. also, this is the most important stat in the game
