Dr. Johan Ross once uploaded a video file into my system. I still have access to this file, although its data is corrupted. I can not bring it upon myself to delete it, despite the data it contains being now useless. I do not know why.
I have archived my memory of that day. As such, it is not as corrupted as other memories of my past experiences.
I will share the memory, as well as the file, below.

J. ROSS: I took this video before the comet crashed. Long before it did, in fact. 2074.
J. ROSS: I was visiting [DATA CORRUPTED] that year. Beaches are what what lies above the ocean. It's an unfortunate fact that you will never be able to see and understand them for yourself. They are beautiful places.
J. ROSS: This beach in specific was the most beautiful I'd seen. I don't usually enjoy going anywhere at night time, but for that trip I made an exception. Every night I walked out to the seaside, just so I could experience it alone.
J. ROSS: I remember that on my last evening there, I headed down for my walk, and upon reaching the shores I saw the most beautiful sunset that I'd ever seen. I can recall pausing in awe at the sight; the exact emotions I felt in that moment are still clear as day in my mind.
J. ROSS: I find it tragic that you are unable to ever see these natural sights for yourself. As such, I wanted to..."show" you this video. It's the closest you will get.
J. ROSS: [sigh] I don't...I think the apocalypse is getting to my head. It's highly unlikely you can even comprehend the words I'm saying to you right now.
J. ROSS: ... In the miraculous case that you do, I hope that when, inevitably, all of us [DATA CORRUPTED], or however we [DATA CORRUPTED]...you might "remember" this video, one day. Perhaps it will...bring up memories of myself.

most people in soma freaked out completely when they started to live in a new body, but though it caused Simon, Catherine, and Ross distress, they handled it pretty much okay. this is because they are transgender. hope this helps 👍
