PlumbobForge - TS3 CC Manager

I've been using CC Magic for over 10 years. But it hasn't seen an update in over 10 years. It requires additional software to run and misses the features I've always wanted, so I decided to create my own. PlumbobForge takes what made CC Magic so great and improves on it

Modern UI - Simple to use and understand. It's easy to get the hang of it

Smart Filtering - You can filter your CAS files by categories (Hair, Clothes, Skintones, Sliders, Presets, etc.) with filtering for more types of files potentially coming in the future *wink*

Supported files - .package and .sims3pack fully supported. Worlds fully supported.

Smart Configurations - Worlds, lots, and sims can be disabled, enabled, and fully work with Configurations

Item Details - A name is too long? Rename it. Need to quickly find the source? Search it on Google

No required dependencies - Just install and start

Compression - Enabled by default, can be turned off, with options to pick from (from 'Low' to 'Very High')

Troubleshooting - Auto-fix system to check for errors if anything went wrong for you

It wouldn't be possible without CC Magic and just like it, it's completely open source, ad-free, and the only online connection it does is checking for updates. It's still very early in development. I had a friend help me with testing on their machine but we might've missed some bugs, but I'm looking forward to fixing and always improving.

okay so here’s a very early version of my default replacement plants! i think i’ve ironed out all the problems, (hopefully)

first of all, this WILL conflict with any mod that alters the Plants.xml, including cinderellimouse’s Cooking Overhaul. these mods will technically work together, but you won’t get the custom tofu plant that comes with the cooking overhaul.

plants that are already in game may or may not change on startup, although all newly grown plants and autosoils will show the replaced meshes

now you’re welcome to just have fun with this till i release the final mod but if you’d be so kind, let me know if you have any issues with -

the harvestables, including when being used in cooking etc.

the plant textures for wilting, dead etc

any conflicts with other mods

any other problems

i’ve finished the replacements for the following plants, as well as made a replacement for the plot of dirt

installing the garden plot replacement is necessary for the plants to look right!!

i would reccomment only installing this if you have all the required expansions/store content. the final version will hopefully use a modified version of CCLoader so you can pick and choose what plants you want to install. 

if you DON’T have all the expansions but you really want to try this, send me a message and i’ll modify the xml for you :)

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

the download link will take you to a folder with all the files. the files labelled with each plants’ name eg. “omedapixel_DefaultPlants_apple” contain the necessary meshes and textures for that plant. these files can go in your regular packages folder

“ccmerged” and “plantXML” must go in your overrides folder. ccmerged is the file that makes all store premium content work, and if you have your store content installed as packages you probably already have a ccmerged. you can safely replace it with this one. if you have your store content installed as s3packs then i’m not sure if this will work, but give it a go!

This update includes the following new plants:

We also have improved Wolfsbane and Grapevines (including all WA varieties).

There are optional (but recommended!) overrides for the following ingredient meshes

More plants ARE coming, but I have mostly trees and fantasy plants left which are a bit harder for me :/

All NEW files are included below in a .zip, inside there is a folder marked “Overrides” with files that should REPLACE the old ones in your Overrides folder.

The other plant packages can go in your regular Mods folder, but be sure to delete the old grapes and wolfsbane if you plan to use the new ones. Note: this download does NOT include the plant packages from previous mod updates. You can download them above.

Grand Hotel Nordhaven - a boutique hotel lot by moonwoodhollow (cc-free)

I suffered through this, but it was all worth it in the end! While we still don't have hotels in-game (yet), I thought it was a fun idea to create a little boutique hotel... and while the fun didn't last that long into furnishing, I ended up with a build I love very much! I hope you'll enjoy your stay in one of the gorgeous rooms at the Grand Hotel Nordhaven!

So what do you get?

Grand Hotel Nordhaven is a 20x20 lot best placed in Nordhaven in the Gammelvik neighbourhood on the Rouge Note lot. The lot is currently set as a residential lot. It also works as a bar, but you'll either have to remove the stairs upstairs or place an item in front of the stairs to prevent your sims from going upstairs, lounging in the hotel rooms watching TV instead of having a drink at the bar. I also added almost all items for a restaurant, but you'll need to add the host station to the lot for it to be functional as a restaurant. Just a heads up: I haven't playtested it as a restaurant!

The lot is—as the title says—a hotel, which is—of course—not functional, but a fun little deco or maybe even residential lot for your sims to take some screenies at or live in. Lots of possibilities!

The ground floor has a functional bar, a hotel lobby, and a restaurant kitchen. The other three floors consist solely of hotel rooms. There are four 'basic' double-bed rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floors, and a more spacious suite on the 3rd floor. The Imperial Suite comprises the whole 4th floor. All hotel rooms have their own bathrooms.

Each room has a unique design - be sure to tell me your (sims') favourite!

Uses items from the following packs: looks best with almost all packs. But a tip: take a look at the build in the gallery and click on the packs to see the items I used from a specific pack, it might also look good with fewer packs.

I present to you a dingy little inn on the outskirts of Praaven - Drunken Boar Inn. This is the place where all adventuring parties come into existence 🍻 

It has the main bar area with some tables, rooms upstairs and a less than legal gambling room above. Initially i was hoping to use a gambling object of some sort, but decided to keep it simple and used domino tables instead. Feel free to swap them out. There is a small kitchen area behind the bar, but i didn’t furnish it too much.

Hope your medieval sims have fun, and who knows, maybe they’ll meet Lithargia and Old Witch Garlick there!
