ableism rly hits you even if no one knows you're disabled. I was never evaluated for anything as a kid because on the outside I was "just" quiet and forgetful and had "weird habits", but I recognized I was the same as the ID autistic kids I knew. and when I heard others laugh behind the backs of those kids, or when in high school I read about the whole thing with CWC, I rly hated myself
