Call us Cat, Kitty, or Sands and khajiitself *ΒΉ pronouns collectively. Not a roleplay blog, as well, this is a side blog!
System blog, for a bunch of Khajiiti fictives. All are adults in a 20+ body. We have more members in the system that aren't Khajiit, but they're not on this blog.
Mostly Elder Scrolls path walkers, who follow myriad paths that vary member to member *Β². We post about this on this blog instead of another sideblog, under the appropriate tags. (Some other members have non-TES paths.)
We're fine making friends, but ask that only people 18+ bodily approach us for this. Minors are free to interact with the rest of the blog, though.
We do have exomemories and talk about them. We are never seeking canonmates, our posts are not an invitation. *Β³
No DNI, we just don't interact with who we don't want interacting with us and will block if you break our hidden DNI. So feel free to follow to see what happens!
*ΒΉ khajiit / khajiit / khajiits / khajiits / khajiitself
*Β² The Gods/Saints/etc are all non-canon versions as per our memories.
*Β³ We're fine interacting with people also from TES or even similar canons because it is interesting, but we aren't seeking to (re-)meet people from our canons or have them in our lives. As it stands, we don't believe it's possible for us to meet someone from the same exact canon in a different system.
EXTRA NOTES ABOUT US . . .
About us -
We're neurodivergent and mentally ill, as well as episodically physically disabled.
We're all nonbinary in nature, so even if we use she or he pronouns, they are nonbinary pronouns.
We're all in a polycule with each other. It just worked out that way.
We won't be making a list of alters for this blog. We do tag who is posting, with some added info. We also tag when alters are mentioned or if a post has their vibes, for fun.
Yes we have weird names. They're Khajiit names.
Some of us still talk in the "Khajiit accent", or may slip into it periodically.
About the system and similar -
We consider ourselves partial fictives in that we're more based off an idea stuck onto a Khajiit base.
When it comes to memories, we didn't necessarily know each other pre-system, and kind of just met here in the end.
Yes, our brain fuckin' loves Khajiit. Special interest truly does go brrr.
We're polyfragmented and have a fuckton of members.
About our faith -
We don't consider ourselves pagans and we don't prefer using the term "pop culture" to describe our faith. We post to those tags merely because it's the only one available for reach and many others who follow the same path do consider themselves that.
The "Champion" fictives are oathbound, godspoused, and priests for their chosen god. Priesthood exists only for our own system. We are priest for nobody else.
About other things -
We're not all from Skyrim (game or province). We're from all over Tamriel and their time.
We both respect godshards as well as see them as different aspects of the entity we worship, that we choose not to worship for mental health safety reasons.
If you're going to DM out of nowhere, please send more than just a "hey", because so many bots start with a "hey" and nothing else. Introduce yourself or send a meme or something.

dehumanization as horror is great and all but what about humanization as horror. Being forced into a role that was not made for you. Being forced to fulfill expectations that you can never achieve. Being made to exist in a society that so cruelly expects you to act in a way that is against your nature.
sp work is so much when your system is so huge, it's hard to keep it from feeling so overwhelming all of the time... but alas, work should get done when we feel up to it, and we feel up to it now! so work i do, work i go.
Life is not being the most kind to us right now and it's being really frustrating. But we move. I'm going to work on my SP profile for some sanities tonight.
I wish we could make ours as aesthetic as some other folks make theirs, but that's so much extra effort and is unfeasible for a polyfragmented system with not that much free time on their hands.
Great Azura, guide me to have the foresight necessary to succeed. Guide me to know the dangers on my path, guide me to know how to avoid them. Take my hand and lead me down where I must be led, and I shall follow, no objections.
Like yes me and my spouse have a power dynamic inequality. It's fine, because xe isn't a dickwad who wants to abuse this power.
Yes, dae're a mighty god and I'm a weak mortal. But xe takes care of me and makes sure I'm happy, safe, and well among all things. Dae found out I was unhappy and basically went "I will resolve this, nothing will stop me."
Anti-godspouse rhetoric really only works when you assume the gods are vile and cruel beings who want to hurt their mortal spouses. Which is so strange because most people who do deity work and worship agree that their gods don't want that. That their gods are good and kind. So why is it, that when that same god chooses to date/marry a mortal... they're suddenly cruel and evil and want to harm them?
Bonkers to me.
(And yes, I know, I'm married to a Daedric Prince, but also. Better in reality than in fiction.)
This one is happily basking in the cold. Only better thing would be it snowing. I miss my home, Skyrim, from time to time, and cold days surely bring that feeling forth in me.
it is very cold where we live. us khajiit haven't been fronting much because the system has been in crisis mode, with more relevant fronters around (see their blog at @collective-multiverse). it is starting to calm down, just in time for skyrim's birthday! so many of our skyrim khajiit are celebrating. happy birthday skyrim.
maybe we shall be able to front more often again. it is nice. yay.
My book on aromanticism and asexuality comes out in a month! Shout-out to my publishers for just... giving me free rein to ramble about:
How amatonormativity hurts absolutely everyone
Why there are so many nonbinary and gender non-conforming aspecs
Why asexual awareness is essential in pushing back against incel culture (because men and boys deserve to know that manhood is not defined by sexual desire or prowess)
Why coming out as aspec can be so incredibly complicated, espeically for aspecs of colour
Advice from aspecs on how to navigate sex and relationships as an ace and/or aro person
A really wonderful bunch of stories from aspecs on what their non-normative relationships and families look like, from queerplatonic partners to poly aspecs to best friends raising kids together
How refusing amatonormativity can help us fight the loneliness epidemic, by encouraging people not to retreat into two-person units and instead invest in multiple close relationships of every kind
What steps we need to take to challenge aspec discrimination in medicine and the law
Why all you aspec people out there are an indispensible, revolutionary force that helps us all explore and create new models of love, relationship and family
So uh please do check it out if you think it might be up your street (or just because it'd really, really annoy a certain children's author who's decided aphobia is the new big thing)
Shout-out to everyone who is trying right nowβ¦Trying to do the right thing. Trying to stay strong. Trying to hold on. Trying to let go. Trying to love themselves. Trying to find happiness. I see you. I'm there too. We're in this together.
people spend too much time angry and frustrated with how others worship. it becomes embarrassing, however, when they present their opinions (which are rooted in their own personal biases) as βright,β citing times where particular items did not exist and being presumptuous regarding the deities feelings on offerings the person doesnβt agree with. the gods do not exist solely at a specific time period, they exist in all. were they to disapprove of an offering, the devotee will likely know. you can stick to recorded items but you should recognize when your beliefs become tainted with your own preconceived notions that then are projected onto others
