Soooo I’ve had major difficulties with the internet (PC troubles) it maybe time to let this one go serious.

So here are my cards that I got

I got my nerd and emo (affectionate)

But also a really nice selection of all the sides plus the Thomas thing.

I didn’t know we got a postcard from Thomas (unless that was also a random pull- did you put that in)

My prediction of them coming at a trying time came true and they did indeed provide the extra dopamine I needed.

Yes with all the orders until I run out I’ve been putting in random postcards with them :D honestly you getting no dupes at all? That’s awesome! A win! Something I personally appreciate about sanders sides is that c!thomas truly is trapped in the video style he does lol. Cause what year is it supposed to be in canon? 2020-2025? Who knows! But I find it so charming that c!thomas still vlogs and formats, shoots and edits his videos like it’s 2016. They’re truly a time capsule of that old YouTube style because that’s what sanders sides was built on, hypothetically c!thomas vlogging himself to the camera and everything. And that format never changed even as time went on because it just became the format of the show and its style. And as someone who misses that more simplistic YouTube era sometimes I really find it charming and nostalgic. While the thumbnails have changed in style somewhat over time or maybe the slang used lol (as ‘me me big boy’ is very dated but so funny to me because it’s so of its time) the format itself is still really the same. And I appreciate it! I think it’s one of the many reasons people find comfort in it, it can remind them of a simpler time in their life.

Idk if this makes sense to anyone else or if they feel the same way but, it’s my morning ramble :) like it’s fascinating to me, if you compared the editing and format of the first episode to thomas’ videos from around that time? They’re very similar. But if you did the same with the new episode and Thomas’ more modern videos? Completely different styles. That’s not a bad thing btw it’s just showing how the editing styles and content has changed over time in the YouTube landscape / algorithm / trends I just find it interesting.

I get a lot of comments esp on tik tok of people saying ‘sanders sides in 2026??’ Whenever I post a video which yeah fair but I’ll reply with the usual yeah I’ve been editing it since 2017. And I get why they comment it yk but when I see it so often esp when maybe a video of mine gets on FYP or something- LIKE YES I STILL LIKE THE SERIES! I KNOW YOU WATCHED IT IN MIDDLE SCHOOL! FREE ME FROM THESE CHAINS!

I know they mean no harm by it, and probably think they’re being original/funny. And that’s great ehsjsjd but when you hear it so often 😭 what are you accomplishing man? I know it’s not as popular as it was! What do you want me to DO AHSJJSJS
