⋆˙⟡ :- It simply never came to an end. Every corner Lilith encountered, every room that she discovered was filled with machines she could not hope to fend off. Without her magic, she was rather useless at all of this. Her strengths lay in her ability to stay quiet and unseen, but even then, there were so few places to hide.

It was not long before she had found herself cornered. A machine locked onto her signal and began a pursuit. She fled as far as she could, but not before the metal beast had her pinned against a wall. With as much effort as she could manage, she tried to fight, but the machine's grip only tightened around her wrist.

" S-stop! Let me go! " Lilith begged the cold metal, her jaw clenching in pain. Tears prickling at her eyes from the tightness. How was she supposed to fight? The machine slowly pins her down, ready to detain another prisoner.

Spartacus didn't stalk the corridors; he rushed through them. A captured woman almost gone into captivity again. Not under his watch. His roar was more of a growl "UNHAND HER!" The machine didn't let go of her. Big mistake. Spartacus squeezed hard on the machines grip on Lilith and pulled hard as the machine's arm began to spark as he almost ripped it out of the machine's grip. He worried for Lilith as he made sure the machine was gone before he asked 'Are you hurt?"

Another slash. Another bot scrapped up into nothing but junk as he kicked it to the side, behind him holding a trail of broken Optic Snares and A.W.D.Bs. He won't stop until he can find his friends, help everyone get out safely, and then destroy this place completely. Even if he's very upset at the scientists here.. He can't kill them, he shouldn't be. But, that doesn't mean he can't beat them up and knock them out. Or take their keycards. Hey, it's how angels get things done, sometimes!

Pit continues his search, looking around with his wings fluffed with worry. The minute he realized.. The second he heard Sora was kidnapped, along with Loki.. He never felt so upset. Twice. Twice now that he didn't protect people he cared about. And it hurt so much, not knowing what was happening to them. What torturous experiments they could be going through.

With a frustrated growl upon hearing the distant sounds of metal tapping upon metal, he swung his electric machete full force at an A.W.D.B, cracking the eye in a quick snap. Curse whoever is behind this! This jerk has been a pain in his side since the time where Kinohtala was in danger! The angel continued onward, scraping more bots along the way until he comes across a door and a security lock. Hm. He tries the keycard, and it opened up to his senior card. The scientists still around the base should count themselves lucky that he didn't need to break someone's legs again.

He walks in and looks at the items inside in awe. Artifacts.. Weapons.. There's so many, he can't even count how many stuff is in here. This must be the wing where they stole all their stuff! Alright, then he needs to get all these back! In mere seconds, he starts his way to clear out the area of bots.

"Come at me!"

Spartacus wasn't waiting for a rescue as he suddenly thanks Pit for distracting the bots and grabbed his sword and shield and his armor back. He didn't run away though; he stood side to side with Pit as brothers almost in awe as Pit seemed like he was some god of sorts. Spartacus nodded as he slashed through some of the bots while Pit got some others. He would not let the group face their trials alone.

Whoa, huh? He saw someone ran in that he didn't recognize, a man grabbing a sword and shield woth armor along with it. The jumper is pretty odd.. kinda like- Wait, jumper? JUMPER! "You!! You're-"

A blast hit Pit, earning a yipe and a very annoyed growl. In mere seconds, he cut the nearby A.W.D.B with his Electric Machete straight in half. "Give me a MINUTE!" He shouted at the now broken robot, then turns to slice down more bots. The numbers have thinned enough for Pit to finally turn his attention to Spartacus.

"You're one of the kidnapped, hi!! Oh, right, I'm part of the rescue operation here! I'm here to save you and others who've been kidnapped as well!" Pit exclaims with bright eyes. He looks kinda familiar, like from his home but not exactly. Similar, but not enough to be from where he lived. As Pit looked at the stored weapons of echoes, he eyes up different belongings to see if he can identify them.

"So, then.. Have you seen a guy with black hair? Oh! Or maybe someone who has spiky hair and blue eyes? They're friends of mine!"

Spartacus looked up at the flying man named Pit "I'm Spartacus but that's later." "Got what you need? Good. I've seen many others captured like I was but there are many like you. Let's cut down more bots to find your friends if they are here. Because I'm not leaving without the others here."

Spartacus wakes up in a sterile, yet white room wearing not no clothing but clothing with a barcode on the back. He regards this as a cell but also a bigger ludus with weaker men. They also didn't know they captured a rebel leader, one who knew his way around a cage, modern or not. He lightly growled, looking around and not hesitating. He knew he had been moved by his location but now he had a new goal, if others were here, he had to get them out as well as himself. Spartacus kept his hands busy with feeling for weak points in the walls, mistakes often made by people willing to build cages, modern or not.

the glitter of the crystal heights mall is quite dazzling for someone like her, able to experience the winter wonderland without the pressure of a mission for the first time. reze mostly holds neutral feelings towards snow and the season, more accustomed to the weight of snow and the pressure of cold while in life-or-death scenarios. but this time, she's solely here for leisure, searching out little stars to take pictures of. how enthralling !

" you look like a keen guy ! " there's no way she could have discerned that, but she takes the stranger's hand and pulls him away anyways. " come do this scavenger hunt with me ! "

Spartacus's eyes couldn't register everything right around him, the bright lights, the strange fake snow coming from the ceiling like the gods decided it was funny to mock winter. He barely had time to ask what a "mall" even was before he was tugged by the hand for this event called a scavenger hunt.

He blinked once, twice, dragged forward through the crowd as she declared him keen. "Keen?", Spartacus was left blinking "I do not know how you saw that woman, i barely have time to register what's going around me at the time."

But he didn’t pull away. If anything, his steps fell in besides her, trying to take in being dragged through the false snowfall and the strange calming effect of the festival music. She sure had energy and was quite unafraid of Spartacus. A fighter that allowed herself innocence. "If you wish a partner in your hunt for stars, I will go with you." His eyes softened a fraction. “Lead on, little star-catcher.”

@hypnoticallycaucasian “…Good,” he muttered, almost to himself before meeting Badou’s eyes again. “Good. I’ve had enough violence for a lifetime.”

He glanced around at the unfamiliar surroundings—this strange world with its metal buildings and odd scents—and then back at the nervous man.

“I’m… not used to being anywhere safe. Thought you were someone else.” A pause. “Thought you were Roman.”

He straightened, placing a hand against his chest—not a gesture of pride, but of introduction. “My name is Spartacus.”

His gaze flickered over Badou again, curious despite his wariness.

“You say you don’t know me… then tell me—where is this place? And why does it not feel like any land I’ve ever walked?”

"No shit? Like, when in Rome? Like uh Gladiator?"

Wow, this. Now this is incredibly different than an alien-god, or a marshmallow person, or anyone else he's met here. This is a history lesson!

"This place is...we don't really know. We're stuck here, though. It's not terrible, but we're still caged."

@hypnoticallycaucasian "In Rome.. yes... " Spartacus's expression barely shifts at first. That curved from stone and battle stare, but he frowns at the word "Gladiator", there's bitter amusement in his eyes. He steps a bit closer, but his poster is powerful, like a man who's always aware of every angle of a fight even when he isn't in one. "Yes..." His voice is low and gritty, roughed by sand, rage and memory. "A gladiator. A slave. A man caged for the amusement of others." "But I didn't stay that way." He looks the stranger over — the clothes, the manner of speaking, the casual shock. Strange land or not, Spartacus reads people the way others read weather.

“Rome is no jest,” he mutters, almost to himself. “And if you know the tales… then you know the blood behind them.”

Finally, he huffs a breath — almost a humorless laugh.

“This place may be no arena,” he says, gesturing around them, “but a cage woven fine is still a cage. Do not think me unfamiliar.”

Then, with a deliberate tilt of his head:

“Tell me — in your world… do they still cheer for the suffering of those forced to fight? Do they still make sport of men dying?”

It’s not accusation. It’s curiosity sharpened into a blade.

hi rp creators! i am not sure if anyone is aware yet but canva has produced their rival software program to photoshop called affinity. its completely free and seems the devs intend for it to stay at way. doesn’t train your work for ai as a huge bonus! even the ui seems similar to ps and you can import adobe files to use so no hard work goes down the drain. i figured i would put the news out there for anyone who may need it. thanks for all that you do <3

Spartacus was about to jump Badou when he stopped himself and looked up. This man was no Roman solider and he wasn't prepared to attack him. "You.... You aren't going to attack me, are you?" Name's.. Spartacus. @hypnoticallycaucasian

No, Badou looks like a twig. Spartacus could snap him in half with very little effort, and Badou knows it, if the sweat that begins to bead at his forehead is any indication.

He puts his empty hands up.

"No, man. I got no reason to do that. I don't even know you."

Spartacus looked over his shoulder, trying to debate where he was and where to go from a certain point. He was just a man stuck in a permanent state of cautious movements thinking he was never safe from the Romans where he came from. At a moment's notice, he could either jump on someone or end up doing something else.

Unfortunately for him, he happens to jump up on a guy already paranoid and jumpy. Badou had been strolling down the street, camera in hand in case there's anything interesting to capture, and a man in a bush isn't really all that interesting, but,

「𝔟𝔞𝔫𝔤 𝔟𝔞𝔫𝔤!」- Trying to juggle more than one plant had been a bad idea right from the start, but climbing a ladder with the two of them in his arm had been a worse idea. He had set one down at the top of the ladder as he hung the other on its hooks.

Until he had leaned a little too far forward and -- CRASH

The plant was on the floor, the pot shattered.

And it had almost fell on someone!

Vash scrambled back down the ladder as quickly as he could. "Oh no! I'm so sorry! Are you all right?!"

Spartacus just looked at the pot as it smashed on the ground and side-stepped it without looking like he was some sort of strategic thinker or something. "I'm fine."

Spartacus found his bearings somewhere near what seems to be a commotion coming from a fair distance. "You, stranger... speak quickly. Where am I?" The stranger with little clothing on except a bit of armor and a cape wasn't kidding. He had narrowly escaped a battlefield meeting with Crassus. He held a few items, now strange to him. A phone, a horse statuette and something else nearly useless to him at the moment.
