Destiny
It was almost humorous, the fact that the other became so easily unhinged. The look in his eyes said it all, though perhaps the young sheikah simply wanted to hear him say it. The thrill and excitement of fighting for ones life, for the safety of a Kingdom against the forces of Evil, it was definitely a better life than peace… Though many would likely disagree. Both. Chuckling softly at the other’s immediate answer, he glanced back to him once more, his crimson-hued eyes locking with the male’s icy blue. Taken aback slightly at his observation, he suddenly broke eye-contact. "I suppose I’m not the only one with the power of perception, now am I…" He mused softly, glancing back to the sword once more. "Though that isn’t the only reason I’m here, as fate would have it." Placing a hand on his hip, he reached up with his free hand to tug gently at the cloth that covered his face, pulling it down before finally turning his gaze back to the other. "The Goddesses answer the call of the Hero, it would seem." He began, motioning to the sword. "Draw your sword, Hero. Evil is looming on the horizon once more… Hyrule and the Princess both need you.”
"The Princess had a dream recently… One that spelled the destruction of the Kingdom. A fearful darkness blanketed the land, the ringleader…" He trailed off, moving to walk past the Hero. "An enemy from days long passed, a dark spirit that has risen to power once more." Pulling the cloth back up in place, he glanced up to the sky as it began too change color, "The spirit of that evil mask. Majora.”
Not unlike the sheikah, Link was most certainly not a wordy male...In fact, he'd have liked it if one of his fairy companions could take it upon themselves to pop up and translate his thoughts into words so he didn't have to. The probable cause lying in his being surrounded by those with harsh tongue, such as the troop members which consisted of mostly men. Growing up in a mostly predominantly male society, his own speech could be taken as obnoxious, cocky and even rude at times. It wasn't how he wanted to display himself; though considering Sheik had the ability to see past even the pointy-eared hylian's silence, it didn't bother him to speak too much in front of him.
Always speaking in riddles and never getting straight to the point was Sheik's way and it always enticed an eyeroll from Link. Almost too comfortable in the presence of the other, casually, arms shot up to cross behind his head, an arched eyebrow given as he impatiently awaited what it was the male wanted to say. It was really hard to get used to the idea that Sheik was the Princess and vice versa. While he acted tense and nervous around Zelda, Sheik got the side of him that simply didn't care. They were both males after all.
Undivided attention was provided and obvious interest in what the beautifully red eyed male was doing. Curiosity piqued, Link's arms fell back down to his sides as he leaned in closer to get a better look at his now revealed face, a slight tint of pink making their way on his cheeks.
"---Wait what...?" Snapped out of his momentary fascination with his appearance, an eyebrow snapped upward. That was impossible, wasn't it? For danger to loom in the same place twice? He'd never heard of such a case in the past---Though, he wasn't complaining.
Looking back to the sword once again, a sort of childish light was brought into his eyes. He was needed again...?
"I've heard of that tale before---But," Attention drawn back once again, he shook his head.
"Drawing the sword without something actually having happened... Wouldn't that awaken the bad as well...?" It was his way of confirming that it was definitely alright, though his almost dulled tone had definitely changed from a few moments ago.
