Hello and welcome to Warrior Cats: Reshuffled.

This project spawned from a single idea: what if different characters’ fates were swapped? What if one died at the expense of another. What if characters abused by the canon got dealt a better hand?

Not every cat will be swapped, and not every event will go unchanged. Yet each alteration is a flap of a butterfly’s wing and only time will tell what hurricanes they’ll breed.

Aside from playing with the canon timeline, I intend to dive deeper into the warriors’ world. Things like clan customs, tools, holidays, and cooking will all be given their time in the spotlight.

Consider: Trans Bluestar Au

She and Oakheart are t4t, and when he's pregnant he immediately offers for Bluefur to join Riverclan. A place where the laws are a little less strict. A place where she can be free of the pressure to be the best warrior, to sacrifice herself for the good of her clan. And it sounds so, so good. Almost too good to be true.

But...

She can't let Thistleclaw become deputy.

So Bluefur turns him down. Says she can't stay mates with him. That her path lies elsewhere. Oakheart returns home confused and heartbroken.

Sunstar names her deputy and Bluefur hopes she made the right choice. She works hard, trying her best to be the best deputy she can be. Her clan loves her. Thistleclaw dies alone, buried in a shallow grave.

Time passes. Bluefur and Rosetail grow closer, taking comfort in each other more and more until friendship boils over into something deeper. They become mates. And moons later Rosetail's belly grows round with three beautiful kits.

Meanwhile, in a place with no stars, Thistleclaw rages. His most bitter rival mates with his last surviving sister. No, this cannot be!

So, like Mapleshade once did, he curses the bloodline. Curses Redtail to die at the claws of his friend. Curses Spottedleaf to be slain alone, away from help. Curses Willowpet to slowly wither in grief.

And for the second time, Bluestar can only watch as she's forced to lose her family

But also because it’s really funny to imagine two cats furiously squabbling over who gets to keep what shell in the divorce

Sick of his life on the streets, a young cat called Rusty boards a ship bound for faraway lands and gets a heck of a lot more than he bargained for.

Inspired by various works, both published and fan-made, Seaborne is an alternative universe (AU) based on the stories told in the Warriors series by Erin Hunter. OFND/Ailurocide, an ever-changing and fascinating xenomoggy created by Spotty (He/Him). From my understanding, Ailurocide is currently on a hiatus, but I recommend you check it out regardless. Fatalverse Warriors, a fantastical rewrite of the Warriors series created by Fatal (He/Him). Kiwianacat's Medieval AU, an AU where the Clans are Medieval Kingdoms which was created by Jade. The art that they've made for this AU is absolutely gorgeous, and I definitely recommend that you check out their posts covering the concept. -@kiwianacat

Unnamed Cat Colony Story, a xenomoggy inspired by Warriors by Maya (She/Her). I love this xenomoggy for the fact that it attempts to make a far more realistic version of Warriors. The concept and currently established story and world-building are fascinating, so I recommend you go check it out! -@totallynotafurry

My take on the Tabby she-cat with distinctive black markings seen in into the wild and the two kits that don’t match any of the descriptions of the kits we know.

In my rewrite I wanted there to be a few more characters for thunderclan pre-into the wild, so I saveed these guys from the void, I’ve decided on Cedarkit/shade for the black kit and Firkit for the gray and white kit.

For the queen her name depends upon the family I put her in, and her relationship with the two kits also changes depending on the family.

I’m thinking she’s either related to darkstripe in some way (sister or mother, in this case Pale- for a prefix and if his mother the two kits would be her siblings because I like that darkstripe is a single litter kit, maybe she’s willowpelts ex girlfriend and dark was an oops baby) or surrogate mother of Frostfur and Brindleface for stonepelt and weedwhisker (in this case Mink- for prefix.) or Sister of Leopardfoot and Patchpelt.

Ough for an au i need someone to pair Spottedleaf up with. Not Tigerclaw (he has his own stuff going on) but someone who can feasibly produce Bramble and Tawny.

Actually wouldn’t it be really poetic if Spotted was the mother of Leaf and Squirrel. And after her sudden death her family took them in to raise them. Just like they took in Fire.

They’re still kin of Firestar’s kin. Not blood kin, but family nonetheless.

Yeah, Mousefur invented being aroace so I’d prefer not to use her. Runningwind is so funny - girlie killed her brother and then stole his husband.
