I want to walk through forests that blanket forgotten laughter. Fade away with the morning fog and dig my bare toes into dirt. I yearn to rediscover what I am as I wash my thoughts with fresh raindrops.

Cocktail.

I want nothing but to feed my mind, with ideas new and old. Swirl them around and let them collide. So they break into a million pieces But form into a billion more.

Metamorphosis.

The pen refused to work. 22 jerks made the ink ooze. Blues, A majestic blue it splattered Onto the paper, tattered.

The letters assembled around the nib, A ‘y’ missing its dip An ‘s’ missing a curve. Then came the words, An undisciplined army Of soldiers unruly.

Adept at the illustration Of careful annihilation.
