1988 Vanagon GL WLE

I’ve stumbled into ownership of a 1988 Volkswagen Wolfsburg Edition Vanagon. It’s been my favorite car in existence since I was in the 6th grade when my father bought the van home. Nine years later, It is mine. It does, however, require some tlc. It has been sitting for a few years. I started working on cars as a hobby when I was in middle school, and have since started working at a garage. I’m still learning, and this project will teach me a whole lot.

I’ve been cleaning it up and treating rust whenever I get spare time at the shop, but we’ve been swamped.

Replaced old brake fluid and started knocking rust off of everything I could get to.

Removed E85 module and soldered the wires that’d been messed with back into their original places.

In the process of learning to read wiring diagrams like a pro. Figured out that my coolant temperature sensor is not functional. New one on order.
