PSYCHOLOGY FACT #536
Breakups are hard to deal with because the body and mind goes through withdrawal, like drug addiction - we become addicted to love.

We have learned to fly the air like birds and swim the sea like fish, but we have not learned the simple art of living together as brothers.

You know as a child, when you would be at the end of your tether and so grassing was your only option with a bully? And you’d be thinking that would solve things?
And then you essentially get a telling off because a) bullies have to be hurting to hurt and b) ‘if so 'n’ so told you to jump off a bridge, would you?’ to prove you COULD have just said no (when that psychological stuff children come out with is not as simple as that and doesn’t feel like you can 'just say no’.)
I really hated that and I don’t think it’s fair. I didn’t care how 'difficult’ they had it (they had it difficult in the way of super rich doctor parents and big house but ignored) I was terrified to go to school and was being terrorised.
I don’t hold it against her now, we were children. But the adults in the situation (other than my mum, who tried valiantly. Her mum was having none of it though 'I’m a doctor, you know, I don’t have time for the squabbles of primary school children’) were abysmal for most of it. Determined to have us 'make up’ whenever I broke free because they counted that as a falling out, when it wasn’t.
You may think the interpersonal issues of 7 year olds is beneath you but for them it is the whole world and they should be listened to.
i’ve grown so unattached from people like i could literally move across the country tomorrow and not give a shit about leaving anyone except for like 3 people
I’m soo fucking sad and tired. And nobody’s here..

‘Am I crazy?’ she asked. ‘I feel like I am sometimes.’ ‘Maybe,’ he said, rubbing her forehead. ‘But don’t worry about it. You need to be a little bit crazy. Crazy is the price you pay for having an imagination. It’s your superpower. Tapping into the dream. It’s a good thing, not a bad thing.’
