The genre has always been romance.
He really said he is having 2 romances one with CNG (kinda) and another with NSC.
GJ: I like Yohan a lot. But I think Yohan likes me more.

Firmest rejection ever, but of course he can't listen
Companionship.
The weird thing about death is that you expect it to change everything but… it changes nothing, really. No one's life including my own, has changed one bit.

A beautiful melodrama as the name suggests encompassing heartbreak, love, abandonment, moving on,resentment&many more complex emotions of humans who are flawed characs trying to learn from their mistakes and live a life worth living. Its not perfect but thats life.
I genuinely loved the scenes between the brothers. Ep 7 was such a crying fest. Both loved each other so much but had to sacrifice a lot due to circumstances, but loved we could see that even in everything, they were each other's solace. We dont see such relationships every day.
The leads obviously had solid dialogues that hit home. Both broken but still ready to heal each other and move on was the most beautiful of them all. I loved that we got their individual moments of facing their issues and finally moving in the direction of healing themselves.
Mubee coming to terms with her father's way of living and loving her, letting go of the guilt &resentment. Opening herself to fall for gyeom even thou she is scared of being left behind. She just wanted to be loved and finally realising she is loved was beautiful.
Gyeom even thou a bright kid had the most lonely heart. Maybe thats why he burried himslef in movies to escape the reality. When we saw the brothers finally talking about how they were never a burden to each other was when he decided to finally let go &be happy & live life.
Coming to the 2nd leads i honestly dont know where to start. A lot of people have been hating on the 2nd FL which feels unfair. Both had their share of mistakes in the relationship and thats why its frustrating as a 3rd person. But isnt that's what makes it realistic enough? They just werent right for each other. They both didnt know each other well enough is cos they never communicated. She put up w things just cos she loved him and he was always in his own world to recognise her feelings and even thou he loved her. It necessarily didnt reach her and she felt isolated. His actions didnt match. They are not bad people but just not right for each other.People are mad that they could've talked it out the next time they met but thats not how real life works. So much pain and unexplained emotions. So much history even if they tried, which they did give a shot, it will lead to those same habits leading to those same mistakes.I do agree the 2ndFL approached him was a little harsh, suddenly jumping back in his life and expecting him to make music was a lil hasty. She had moved on from that place because it was too much for her. But the 2ndML was still stuck in the past and holding onto her past self.Knowing that she was the only person who believed in him while his family has been nothing but shit to him. So no wonder his self-esteem was at an all-time low. But i guess he needed thaf closure to finally believe in himself again and move on in life to be himself again.
Last but not the least a shoutout to ko-jun. Such a painful yet beautiful character. There's so many layers to his character. His life maybe seen as pitiful(in some ways maybe it was) but i loved that his love for his brother was never tainted and it kept him going instead.
Woo jeong hu..our cutiee patootiee, i loved that he wasn't just a comic relief but given his character arc his simple yet impactful words were such a solace to gyeom and mubee and maybe for a lot of us too. And in the end gyeom had someone to occupy that space left by his brother.
Sorry for the rant but i guess #MeloMovie really touched me in a lot of ways. It was a simple drama but i loved how the execution was done. Many might not agree w me but its fine. I think in some ways this drama hit home :")
“You know, that's the thing about the pain of a loss. At first, there's so much going on that it doesn't hit you. But when you need that person so desperately and you realize they can't be there with you… that's when the pain really sets in.”
