The most frustrating part is that most of the time, the people around the suicidal person who others insist should have their feelings prioritized over the person dealing with suicidal thoughts are at least part of why that person is suicidal. Like, if someone is harassed constantly for something like their weight, their sexuality, or being trans to the point that they kill themselves, oftentimes the reason they were driven to that was because even the people close to them wouldn't take it seriously or actively went along with it. When someone commits suicide, it's usually because they've been failed by the people around them. It's similar to how people act when someone shares their experience of abuse and people jump to find some way to blame the person for being abused, while saying that the victim should have been "considerate" of their abuser's feelings.
