“Like who have you met, so far?”
"A fair share of people." she mused, cocking her head to one side. "Marian, Maddoc, Theron, Alann, you..." she paused for a moment "Oh, and then Fenris very recently."

“Been there, done that~” Isabela laughed. “Indeed, it has one or the other charms” she winked at Táriel. “I take it, you like it so far?”
"Oh yes, I do." she smiled a little. "Some very....interesting people here."

“Yes, Merrill.” she laughed, “Silly, clueless Merrill…” the woman looked off, “They’re all an interesting breed of their own, but they wouldn’t be themselves if they weren’t.” sighed the mage, her eyes glinted in a sort of appreciate as she spoke. No matter how severely her companions drove her up a wall, she still deeply cared for each of them. Marian smirked and returned her blue gaze to the elven woman, “Charming, you say? I’d hardly consider myself charming. But my sister is indeed a caring woman, always willing to listen and help whenever she can. I admire her for that.” The mage took a couple strides towards Tariel, eyeing her. “But you…” she began, “Where’s your eccentric quirk?” Marian planted her feet to the ground, “You must have one, anyone that finds themselves in Kirkwall… isn’t just normal.” the mage joked.
Táriel watcher her curiously, wondering where her conversation was going but soon found out when Marian found herself in front of the elf. "Eccentric quirk?" she repeated, almost questioning herself. "I wouldn't call anything of mine a quirk." and hardly anything eccentric. She enjoyed History, which was odd for an assassin but hardly anything outrageous.
"I'm in Kirkwall because it's not Denerim. Perhaps I have yet to discover any eccentric quirk that I may possess." but if she had one then no doubt these people would soon uncover it.

So, what are you doing in Kirkwall, besides the obvious?
Let's just say that I had some escaping to do. Returning to Denerim is not an option. Besides, this place has its charms.
full body commission of a Dragon Age character.
This is my commission from Ichi and sweet jesus I am in love. My OC, Táriel, looks amazing. I just. I cannot. There are not enough words to express how spot on this is.
Reblogging my personal account. But look, it's Táriel! 8D

I’ve seen you around here… so you’re the one with the nimble fingers /grins/ Táriel, hmm? pretty name… you may call me isabela /smiles
So it would appear. A pleasure to meet you Isabela.
*looks down sheepishly and scratches the back of his head.* Ah, well my full title is Knight-Lieutenant Alann Kinsella of the Templar Order. You can probably tell why I would not go around introducing myself as such.
"Hm, yes, I can see why" she eyes the man the little. "Well, a pleasure to meet you all the same." well, providing he wasn't one of those really crazy Templars.

and who might you be, gorgeous?
Gorgeous, hm? I could say the same for you.
Táriel Amar at your service.
Hello there. I have not met you, it seems. My name is Alann, what may I call you?
You may call me Táriel. It is a pleasure to meet you, Alann. What is it that you do?
I keep missing the chat because I go by GMT

“Oh?” she quipped, a snicker following soon after. “Well, that depends if you’re willing to deal with crazy.” Striding a couple steps aside the elven woman, she planted her feet firmly into the ground, looking off into the streets of Lowtown. “There’s my brothers, Garrett and Carver. One abnormally obsessed with dragons and the other as stubborn as a mule, and then there’s my sister Bethany… who… actually happens to be most sane of them all.” She tapped at her her chin with her index finger, “And then of course, there’s our Anders who has an infatuation with kittens and a minor obsession with feathers, then Isabela, oh Isabela… with her inexplicable ability to drink without getting drunk, Varric—heh… the snarky dwarven story-teller…” she turned and pointed her finger at the woman. “Don’t believe a word he says about me fighting off an ogre with my bare hands, that’s nothing but a bunch of nonsense.” “Mm.. let’s see..” she turned and continued, “Ah, Merrill. The elf’s timid as a mouse but watch out for a blighted ball of twine whenever she’s around. If you’re half as easily irritated as me, I’m sure you wouldn’t want to be tripping over it in the middle of public.” she sighed, shaking her head. “Sebastian’s there, too. The prince of Starkhaven. He’s a sweet man; very calm and composed…” she tilted her head and rubbed at her cheek, “… knowing that, sometimes I don’t exactly know why he likes to hang around me!” she joked, chuckling. “Oh! And Maddoc, but I think you’ve already met him.” She turned her head over her shoulder and gave a smirk, “Well? That’s the lot of ‘em. Take your pick.”
Tariel's brow seemed to raise a little more with every description and her expression would probably be perceived as wondering why exactly she had chosen to remain in this city as everyone sounded rather...mad. At least there was an elf in there. Always good to have an elf around. "Maddoc mentioned elf girl with a ball of twine actually. I'm assuming her and Merrill are the the same person." as it wasn't very often you saw an elf chasing a ball of twine.
"I often overhear some of Varric's storytelling when i'm doing business in The Hanged Man. The man has a talent." and quite the character, but then again, most dwarves were peculiar to her. Sebastian didn't sound like her type of person. Princes weren't to her tastes, just like the majority of nobility and royalty that existed in Thedas - especially those in Denerim that favoured kidnapping elves from the Alienage in order to turn them into their own personal prostitutes of sorts. Táriel had been heavily relieved to find that such things did not seem to happen in Kirkwall.
"Hm, I don't mind cats - have a friend or two in some of the strays. And I do like a good drink now and then. And if your sister is even half as charming as you are, well, then I have to meet her. As for your brothers, perhaps I shall speak to them. I do like a challenge" she chuckled lightly, running a hand through her hair.

“So, I see.” she observed as she looked downward at the shorter woman with an arched brow. “Can’t the say the same’s happened to me.” Her blue eyes wandered off for a moment as the smirk etched upon her lips faded, images of that night at The Hanged Man idly flashing across her wit, “Yet.” There was a slight pause before the mage jeered back into the movement of things, she rid of the memory and reattained her smile. “So, Táriel… met any of my strange company yet?”
Táriel had been captured once or twice - not by authorities, but by very pissed off nobles. There plans had never worked though, and she had always escaped within a couple of hours tops. She watched Marian carefully, but felt it better not to pry. With a shake of her head she answered "Can't say i've met any of your immediate company. Anyone you would recommend? Or who may become good company for myself also?"
If anyone has any para ideas
Feel free to drop me a line!

She shook her head, taking a hand and pressing it the back of her head. “Mm… there have been times as of late where I thought that would actually happen.” The mage sighed, “No doubt you’ve felt the same way.” She pushed her weight from the wall and back to her feet, letting her hand drop as she folded both arms across her chest. “But luckily, it hasn’t.” From what she could tell so far, the elf certainly had a lot in common with her. A smile stretched across Marian’s face, “Wouldn’t you agree?”
Táriel liked Marian already. She was charming, and the two certainly had more in common than the elf had initially thought. "I couldn't agree more m'lady." she shifted a little and took a few steps closer "Although, I have been in chains and behind bars on several occasions - but as you can see, well, I can't be tamed for too long." a smirk played upon her features as she rested a hand on her hip.
