Too many people pit Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire (AMC) against Interview with the Vampire (1994) when in reality you can have both. You can have your cake and eat it if you bake two cakes, and we did, we got a more ‘accurate’ adaptation AND we have a more explicit adaptation that is both very different and very much in spirit of the original novel.
