I have spent years traveling the world and meeting interesting people from many corners of this planet, only returning home after my father's death to keep my mother company. Kya laughed, moving her arms to send another snowball flying at her friend, enjoying the bending practice the harmless snowballs gave her. “Only if you can catch me!” She laughed, forming a segment of snow into ice and jumping on before she used her bending to zoom away.

“Hey, that’s cheating!” the little earthbender complained and shot out her bottom lip in an angry pout. Lin had already started to practise her bending, but the thick layer if snow made it difficult for her to connect with the earth below. “Kya, come back here!”

“It’s not cheating if I’m fast enough!” Kya called over her shoulder in a laugh, stopping to turn around and start bending a snow fort. 

“I’m queen of the castle and there’s nothing you can do about it.”

Kya laughed and dodged the snowball. “Yeah, you did.” She grinned, bending more snow balls and rolling some to by Lin’s feet before she sent one flying towards her friend.

The force from the snowballs made the little earthbender stumlbe backwards, loose balance and fell onto the soft snow. “I will get you for this!” Lin exclaimed with a playfull chuckle and pushed herself up from the ground.

“Showball fight?” Lin reated and looked at the snow. Kneeling down, the child scooped together a small mass of the sticky, white subsistence, formed it into a ball and threw it in Kya’s direction. “Did I do it right?”

Kya laughed and dodged the snowball. "Yeah, you did." She grinned, bending more snow balls and rolling some to by Lin's feet before she sent one flying towards her friend.

“No silly.” Kya laughed “you’re suppose to make one and throw it back at me. It’s a game”

“Why would I throw something at you?” Lin frowned and crossed her arms over her chest. “What’s the point?”

"It's just fun." Kya sighed "it's called a snowball fight."

“Hey!” the child grunted in annoyance when the showball hit her face. “What did you do that for? I’m telling aunt Katara!”

Kya frowned a little when her younger friend complained. “But look at how pretty the snow is!” Kya insisted, moving her hands to make an instant pile of snowball. “Look at the way the light glistens on it.”

The child earthbender just pouted and shook her head. “You know what else glistens? Lamps. On the street of Republic City.”

Kya just poured and sent a snowball flying at Lin, a small smile creeping back onto her lips.

@waterbendingnomad: “Lin!” Kya grinned, the young girl jumping up and down by her mother’s side, sprinting across the snow the second the boat stopped to pull her friend into a hug “You came! Isn’t this place amazing?!”

When Kya’s arms wrapped her,  the younger girl just grunted and shook her head. Even if Toph had made sure to dress her daugthers in thick jackets with multiple layers of sweaters underneath, the cold still penetrated Lin’s body and sent shivers down her spine. 

“If ‘amazing’ is another word for ‘agonizing’, then yes, it is.”

Things that don’t matter to me about another roleplayer:

If you use icons; some people just can’t, or don’t like it.

If you have to reply on the mobile app; I can trim our posts for us so we don’t piss people off.

If you need time to reply; Just let me know so I don’t think the thread is dropped. Everyone takes different amounts of time to do things. Never feel bad if your muse just isn’t working with you.

If you need to drop a thread; as long as you tell me I wont be mad. Sometimes we all just have too much going on, or get bored. We can always plot somethign else.

If you don’t ship our muses; Some people just don’t work together, and maybe they should just be friends. Friends aren’t a second place trophy, and I wont treat them like they are.

If your text is fancy; concentrate on the words you use, not the aesthetics. Wont matter to me if you took an extra how ever long making the words little, if I’m only getting two words back anyways.

If your replies match mine in length; Sometimes you can’t find enough words, and you shouldn’t feel bad. As long as you tired your best.

You know what I do care about? That you think of it more like fun, than work. If it’s just work interacting with my muse, then tell me, because something needs to change.

“Hey, you’re bleeding!”

“Can you move?”

“You will be fine, I promise..”

“Don’t you dare to leave me. Not now.”

“We can get you fixed in no time.”

“Please get up.”

“I refuse to believe it will all end like this!”

“You won’t die, not on my watch!”

“Ouch.. that must hurt “

“Shit, wait.. I’ll patch you up.”

“What were you thinking?! You could’ve killed yourself!”

“I came too late..”

“You should’ve told me earlier.. I could’ve helped you!”

“I swear to god if you die on our way back I’ll kill you.”

“It’s nothing, just a scratch.”

“Well, you see.. It’s a really long story. Will you help me or not?”

“I can’t make it.”

“I am dying. There is nothing you can do about it.”

“Can’t, I’m in a meeting. Call me back in thirty minutes.”

"I don't think I can, all the books say you only get one phone call." Kya replied, the panic in her voice becoming more pronounced "Come get me as soon as you can? Please Lin, don't forget."

Kya sighed and pulled the water out of the glass she had offered Lin, wrapping it around her fingers and gently pressing the glowing water to Lin’s temples. “Helping?”

Heartache and goodbyes

Kya groaned as she came back around, feeling as if everything hurt, glad to be resting on something soft and warm. She looked around her, checking that the coast was clear before she forced herself to sit up, freezing for a moment as the room spun around her before she reached for the medical records beside her bed, waiting for her head to stop spinning so she could read the file before the healer came back.

“For the record, I still think you’re an idiot,” Lin muttered as she entered Kya’s room at the hospital. “I talked to the healers, and you got bashed up, but you’re going to live. One of my officers also caught the knucklehead that hit you a few minutes ago, and believe me, I’m going to lock up that bastard for a long time, but in order to do so, I’ll need you to testify when you’re feeling better. You up for it?”

Kya looked up from the file when she heard a voice, shocked at the voice she heard, a small frown on her lips as she listened to Lin's words. She let the insult slide into oblivion, there were more important things to do than argue with a Beifong, an attempt that was quiet possibly impossible. "I just want to go back to the South Pole, Lin. There's nothing here for me anymore."

Kya frowned “I’m sure it will come back to you.” She tried to convince both of them “Until then, just be really careful about what you drink….”

“Hey!” Kya yelled out in anger before the pain hit her, rendered speechless by shock and pain, her vision blurry as she tried to train her eyes on the person who had hit her, her hands moving to pull some water out of a nearby barrel, shooting it at the driver to try and freeze him in place. “I’m fine.” She tried to tell… Something… That was trying to keep her down, trying to get up to go after the idiot but her leg wouldn’t move the blood from her forehead was getting in her eyes. That was the last thing the master healer could remember before she passed out.

“Oh for fucks sake, help her!” Lin yelled at the healers as soon as they arrived. The chief herself stayed at the station, but watched through the window as the healers picked up Kya and loaded her into an ambulance before driving off to the hospital. Meanwhile, Lin ordered some of her officers to track down the stolen satomobile.
