Why Daenerys Sucked Ass In 8X01

Y'all know I mean business when I actually agree with something Sansa Stark says.

1. Did you see her reaction when the smallfolk were screaming and running? Bitch smirked and looked so proud of everyone fearing her. She practically squirted on her saddle at their fear.

2. “Anything they want.” Ah Yes, children, livestock, children, innocent people, children and more children. They’re wild animals and if they get hungry they’ll eat whatever’s in sight. It’s wintertime, people need to eat. Dragons are lower than 3000 on the list of priorities.

3. “She doesn’t have to be my friend, but if she can’t respect me….” Fucking what? Y'all know I hate Sansa, but that’s Jon’s sister (cousin) that was clearly a threat to Sansa’s life. A very thinly veiled threat too. She’s basically saying Sansa has to respect her or else…

4. The emotionless response to Sam’s grief. Burning the Tarly’s was something that wasn’t necessary, she could have imprisoned them, made them take the black or even give them a merciful death. But no, she burned them to a crisp without a care for the consequences. She didn’t think of their family or their land or anything, she just killed them. Like Aerys ll did to Rickard and Brandon Stark.

She showed no emotion to Sam. She said it like “I killed them because they didn’t enslave themselves to me. And that’s fine with me.” That was such a dick move.

5. Sam making points. “You gave up your crown to save your people. Would she do the same?” No. She wouldn’t.

6. The 8x02 promo which has her threatening Jaime for killing her father. Her pyromaniac, mad king father. Need I say more?

Also, I loved how Arya told Jon to remember who his family actually is. Yes Daenerys is his aunt but they aren’t close. She’s telling him to listen to his family and defend them at all costs. If anyone is gonna talk some sense into Jon it’s his dear sister.
