Steph: Well, it’s your call. 

Rachel: And it’s a lot of money.

Steph: How much is the delay costing?

Rachel: I don’t know, but it’s probably more than this. A conservation garden, the cheeky devils.

Steph: Now they’ve got those eco-warriors winding them up. Look, you know when you were a kid? And you started to go on dates? The only thing boys were interested in was getting to fourth base as quickly as possible. 

Rachel: I hate where this is going, but yeah?

Steph: To give them something to keep them interested, you let them get to first base.  

Rachel: OK. So hopefully they’ll forget about fourth? 

Steph: Exactly. Give them a bit of…top., got to keep your knickers on. Or so I’m told. 

Rachel: Shall we give it a go?

I noticed something else as well. When Rachel and Eddie have their first kiss, ‘Tears Dry On Their Own’ is playing, which kind of seems romantic in a way. 

But if you think about it, the whole relationship was doomed from the start. The song is about an on-off relationship with a man she believes is the love of her life. In the song, she’s saying he leaves her and she’s left to pick up the pieces on her own. And this is playing when Rachel and Eddie first kiss. 

So, honestly, we were so fucked from the beginning.

Chris: ‘You were right...’  

Rachel: ‘Suicide’

Rachel and Chris deleted prom scene. OH MY GOD.

I am screaming. I can't believe this scene didn't make the final cut. Rachel did acknowledge the suicide attempts after all.

Everyone always moaned that Rachel didn't even acknowledge what had happened with Finn and Amy in Episode 20. It seemed to have never happened, like suddenly she didn't care anymore. She got so wrapped up in her little bubble now she was married, and it appeared she dismissed the rest of the day’s events - strange, considering how hung up her character was about Amy and Finn earlier in the day. So many said that it was out of character and that she just ‘left it’, after not being able to tear herself away earlier.

Well she didn't leave it. And she thanked Chris at the prom for his hard work. Basically, Rachel was still being good old Rachel, but it was cut from the original broadcast.

This is the moment in which she realises they don't need her anymore.

‘Why didn’t you tell me, Chris!’

‘Because I told you that I’d handle it. And I did.’

‘Yeah, you did. And it sounds like you did a brilliant job.’

Such a beautiful little scene between Rachel and Chris at the end, too! That little kiss on the cheek, and the look she gives him as he walks away... Eeeek so adorable.

Enjoy lovelies. I hope you squee over this as much as I did. Case closed: Rachel wasn't being a bitch, lols. I will post the clip of this scene ASAP.

P.S. I know she got married and that but I still totally ship them after their drunken one night stand hahahaha lets not forget that minor incident where Rachel broke his lil heart

P.P.S. Can we also appreciate that they had to film the prom scenes in silence to record the audio and then dub the music over the top, so cue the awkward silent background dancing hahaha

Same old blog, same old content - we’re back! Unfortunately, I can't access the original account waterloo-road anymore, ...so here we are.

Memories, GIFs, videos, discussions, theories. I want to post as much as I can and I reaaaaally hope there’s some of you die hard WR fans still out there! (if you used to be on the forums, I’d love to hear from you too - I was moobag)

Hi all!

I really can’t believe how long it’s been. I lost access to this account for almost an entire year, hence the lack of posts. I didn’t lose hope though - I’ve kept creating new content ever since in the hope that I’d be able to get back on here and one day be able to post it …and yayyyyyyy!

I hope you’re all still about. It’s been so long but I hope there’s at least a few of you here still who will enjoy some of the new stuff I’ll be putting up soon. Admittedly I wasn’t a fan of the last few series that were set in Scotland, so a lot of my stuff is pre-series 8, but in all honestly, it’s mostly Series 1-5. I feel there’s a lot of newer Waterloo Road content over Tumblr and Instagram (from my experience) which is why I enjoy posting what I post, and I hope you do too.

I hope you’re all well and I’m excited to show you the new things I have going!
