So I stumbled across some old wr fanfic I wrote about a hundred years ago and it got me remembering a Rachel/Steph (I know I know!) fix I read on the forums years ago. I was all ready for a re-read but am devastated to find that they no longer exist 😩 though I was pleased at least to stumble across this blog x

I’m sorry you probably posted this to me long ago, but...

I miss the forums so much! Even if it was dead towards the end, scrolling through all of the content on there was brill. Unfortunately I believe the main issue was funding, and collectively with the little number of active users on there towards the end, not enough people were contributing for the server costs to keep it running. Such a shame. I’ve always wondered about whether they could be recovered or not, but I’m pretty sure by now the whole thing has been lost into the abyss that is the internet.

I’m so glad! I will have lots of new content being posted in the coming week or so. I hope that can fill that little WR void (it helps me!)

Hi all!

I really can't believe how long it’s been. I lost access to this account for almost an entire year, hence the lack of posts. I didn't lose hope though - I’ve kept creating new content ever since in the hope that I’d be able to get back on here and one day be able to post it ...and yayyyyyyy!

I hope you’re all still about. It’s been so long but I hope there’s at least a few of you here still who will enjoy some of the new stuff I’ll be putting up soon. Admittedly I wasn't a fan of the last few series that were set in Scotland, so a lot of my stuff is pre-series 8, but in all honestly, it’s mostly Series 1-5. I feel there’s a lot of newer Waterloo Road content over Tumblr and Instagram (from my experience) which is why I enjoy posting what I post, and I hope you do too.

We need your help!

Anyone who was on the Waterloo Road Forums back in the day...

When Steve was in charge of the forums, he posted several audio interviews with Dean Smith, Eva Pope etc. Aaaaaand the big question is, how on earth do we find them again? Is there any way someone has a contact for him for us to get copies of the interviews/other things?

There was so much content on those forums and it’s just such a shame for those who became fans of the show at a later stage to be missing out when the forums were nearing the end of their life/closure. It would be so great if we could retrieve some of all that golden old stuff and re-post it on here for fans new and old! If you find anything, please re-blog and hashtag under:    waterlooroadforums

P.S, any old fanfics you all have out there... maybe we could host those somewhere too.

P.P.S ...Although maybe not the stuff that was breaching being illegal/questionable on many levels haha.

Memories!

Right guys,

After the finale last week I now think it’s time to do something different, and have thought of the idea of character recap videos, playing the best and most memorable moments of each of your favourite characters! Each of these will involve highlights and will be a couple of minutes long, so now’s the time to drop your character requests…

I’m open to all characters but anything between series 1-6 will be a lot quicker as I already have the clips to hand. Anything beyond S6, please bear in mind it’ll take a little longer to turn around, and it will be better let me know of any specific episodes/clips (if any) you wish to be included!

Can’t wait to hear all your suggestions and to get going!

Every second episode of Waterloo Road

Head teacher: right kids we have a v important person coming so we gotta all be good etc

Students: *intense rowdiness*

Female student: *gives birth*

Another student: *gets sent to the cooler but is really a good kid*

V important person: this school is a shambles! Ur getting shut down!

Head teacher: I'm gonna resign

Mr budgen: *grumbles about 25 years of suffering at the school*

Mr Clarkson: *somehow acquires another child*

Pick a teacher any teacher: I'm sticking my neck out for you kid! I could be fired!

Students and teachers: *come together to save the day*

V important person: wow u ppl at Waterloo road really care, no one is fired and I'm not reporting anything!

All these cut scenes I've found make me realise how much they actually cut from episodes.
