The Scorpid-Bat-Cat And Its Laughing Companion In A Strange Forest
Sleeping in wilderness wasn't something she lacked the knowledge of. Finding a good vantage point with enough cover to not crossing the gaze of the creatures crawled in the area, or just be safe from the weather conditions; it was familiar in it's quick paced respite. What she lacked the experience of however was falling asleep with company out of the roof of a home. The low purrs of a majestic winged beast, King Wyvern named Dazar, would most likely to be offended of not be considered as a roof. It's wings were curled around the two sleeping figures, while the big tail tipped with an intimidating stinger nested dormant.
Warmth. A sneaking sense of security? Or was it the continous purrs of the creature whom she patted its fluffy mane for a while that opened the maws of falling asleep, she wasn't sure. Only after her ears started to pick up the sounds of the wildlife through the Wyvern's purring she woke up. Groggy vision only took few blinks before it cleared itself only to find the edges of an arm, it didn't belong to her. When she was more awake she understood what situation was at play.
During the sleep, she somehow tilted in her slumbering position to fit in the empty spot between Dazar's body and already sleeping figure whom was way taller than him with longer limbs, thankfully the Jungle Troll was facing outwards to keep the impressive tusks away. Her own arms were furled to be used as a weird pillow and a leg dangling over the company's knee in a faux entanglement. It was a challenging moveset to retrieve her limbs without disturbing the sleep of either the animal nor the man but she managed to do so in a few stealthy attempts! Leaving the confines of the winged enclosure was a more difficult task however, which earned a low huff from Dazar, whom opened one eye to look at her questioningly. "Ah be going outside, will bring ya snackies okay?" Zug'i said in a hushed tone, earning a little passage from his wings. She reached up to ruffle the cat's mane a little as a thanking gesture before stepping to the bright scenery of the Eversong Woods.
Stretching her legs and arms, the female spend some time to do a morning exercise to chase the stiffness brought by the randomized sleeping posture. It also gave her time to think about things. Mainly the still sleeping duo, and the suggestion made by the Troll.
"A partnership to be da fierce predetor of da above world and see many fights, eh?" she whispered, pondering. She saw firsthand on his fighting prowess, and that earned bits of her respect.
She gathered her throwing spear, strapping it back before transforming into a bat and took flight. Enjoying each moment of extending her wings freely whenever she followed an air current. Despite still thinking the air of this forest was weird, being on the sky brought her joy. One happy Haranir scouring in the sky as she made her way towards the lumber camp she noticed yesterday. Or so what she thought. Until she was enveloped in mists that hindered her vision, trapped in foggy area. Getting too happy or too cocksure had its own backfires. There were new scents, new sounds, yet the lacking visuals made her not to land. Perhaps another day she would find a chance of investigation. Maybe she could ask Pokka about that part of the lands, being a person of Azeroth he might had a clue.
It took her a fair bit of backtracking to return to the lands she learned as Elven lands, Blood Elven specifically. Rest of the morning up to noon was spent on finding a worthy snack for Dazar, to be shared with its two peasants. If you ask the majestic cat, at least. She returned with a creature which was weird to her, it had tusks and a mean charge. She wasn't aware what a boar was but it was hunted. Swift, and merciful, even got thanked by the female for giving them sustenance.
When she hauled the creature like a funny looking she hulk, was greeted by now awake company. The troll man with red mohawk gave her and the prey a glance before giving her a grin. "Ah, ya be bringing da hunt I hunted in mah dream ah see!" he said, jokingly.
The answer was a thorn appearing near him to smack him on the side.
