The start of creation was hopeful, with a clear directive and blind loyalty. And while Malakai wasnât unlike most of the other Potestas, his loyalties always lay with the archangel he served. Lucifer. It went beyond regular admiration and devotion to his leadership. To Mal, Lucifer should inherit Heaven, and he saw him as a true example of a God. He also adored the man. Safe to say that his devotion was not without love. Mal might even go as far as saying Lucifer is the only being he has ever truly loved. Of course, this isnât true but he likes to present himself as someone whoâs near incapable of falling in love with anything, lest anyone. To no ones surprise, when Lucifer fell, Malakai fell with him. He followed his beloved leader with many other angels trough it all. The creation of Hell, helping to build its hierarchy and structure. Present when the demons were created and remained when the Devil was lost to them all. In Hell, Mal figured out his true calling. And its one that most would consider both horrifying and inhumane. He quickly became one of the most famous, most favored torturers in Hell, the one every poor soul sent there dreaded to be faced with. The one they barely dared whisper about. The one able to convince the most to join in on the vicious cycle and take the step from being the one strapped to the table, to the one standing above with whatever instrument deemed appropriate. He was high rank, important and well known to all souls, demonic or otherwise. Not many dared to cross him, and all respected him.
However, after spending most of his life in Hell, Mal decided it was time to explore earth. Now of course he had the same regard of humans as his lord and savior did, thinking them vermin and not worth of much. Yet he found a certain joy in luring them in and toying with their emotions, before breaking them to pieces. From a human standpoint heâd easily classify as a psychopath. Without capacity for empathy, only following social conventions when it suites him, and like some, with a great capacity to kill. In fact, he thrived on it at first, getting even more creative on earth with live, screaming humans than doomed souls in Hell. On earth he had opportunities to create new scenarios, toy with humans for longer by slowly breaking their spirits and bodies, all in all, earth proved to be a fun place to be. Often the angel indulged in pleasurable arts as well. He had to be so much more careful with humans, they broke so easily, but he considered them to be useful in order to give him what he needed or wanted sexually. Five times he fathered children, nephilim that were blessed with his angel blood. And while not all of them endured him as a father, some did. He heard of Wayward Rose when it was first created, though its not been before the last 50 years that he has had the interest in the city and decided to stop by every now and then. Other supernaturals do intrigue him and when he stops by he tries to rent out a nice variety of species. If he misses being seen and admired, he will pop back down to Hell for a visit, the place boost his ego like no other and while it satiates his thirst for violence it also often makes him more vicious when he returns to earth. Ramiel, a devoted angel who has always understood his place in the world and his purpose. He served as a corporal until Lucifer fell and his general and friend fell with him. While Ramiel was tempted to follow his superior, trusting him with his whole heart and being utterly loyal to him, his devotion to god and loyalty to his creator was what kept him from breaking with God. And while he shares his fathers love of the human creation, he also thinks they are flawed and often prove themselves unworthy of the gifts God granted them. Still he has kept silent on such matters and never strayed, faithfully serving. When his superior fell, Ramiel stepped up and became general of a large garnison of angels. At first he was needed a lot on earth, as battles between Lucifers own creations and heaven ensued, but with time, as peace stretched across the land, he became a less active fighter and more of an observer, often choosing to stay on the earth plane rather than in heaven.
600 years ago, Ramiel discovered one of the most powerful demons roaming on earth, and he attacked without thought, calling for help, although he knew most of heavens hosts had been called back home, fewer and fewer angels walking on earth. The demon overpowered him and for twenty years it kept Ramiel as a sort of puppet, displaying him for other demons, allowing others to torture and abuse him for the right price. Once the demon grew tired of his angel captive he sold him to Thorn Haven where he has resided in and out of the cells for 580 years.
Ramiel didnât expect Thorn Haven to be much different from the prison he had known with his demon captor, though he found it to be less constrained, the rains a lot looser despite the brand that kept his angelic powers locked away. And while he detested captivity, he found a healthy middle ground, being one of the oldest creatures in the cells, and one that had spent more time there than most. Its where he met one of his closest friends, the witch Medea, and where he found love with another beautiful blonde witch. Cyn Cardenas came into his life, smashing a lot of beliefs and forcing the doors to his heart wide open. For the first time in centuries, the angel discovered what human emotions were like. Perhaps it happened because he was trapped in a human vessel, in a human body that were accustomed to the concept of emotion. Or maybe his time on earth had slowly chipped away at the angel. He still doesnât know why it is he found himself feeling so keenly for the first time. Whatever it was, he fell hard for Cyn and when she claimed him, he was happy. Nine long years of happiness. And then fate intervened. Unknown to Ramiel, Cyn was held captive and turned into a werewolf. All he heard were the rumors of her entire coven being slaughtered. Yet the angel refused to believe that his witch mistress had died. For five years he waited, certain she would return, but not entirely sure what he would like to happen when she did.   Born into a life of servitude, Darragh was bred into his life. Considered little more than property, Darragh has no knowledge of his parents and was instead raised to be the perfect servant to any who needed him. As far as he is concerned, his years are numbered and the chances of finding any sort of real peace is impossible. Time with his last owner found him lapsing into bouts of muteness, only serving to further the idea that he might truly be worth little more to anyone else. Instead of selling him directly to another owner, he was instead sold off to Wayward Rose.

She wasnât expected. Hell was full of demons who proudly indulged in every want they could possibly desire. Her parents were the same. She is the daughter of a high-ranking incubus- Â an appointed knight and tormentor, and a succubus by blood. One would think that sheâd have no worries, but they would be wrong. Theodoraâs mother fled Hell before even knowing that she was pregnant. When she realized it, she kept it to herself and settled in with a little clan of demons in France. Shortly after having Theodora, she began to indulge in her insatiable desire for energy, which drew in the eyes of hunters.
The hunters attacked during the night, raiding the clan and killing all but one little demon. At first, they planned to, but they couldnât. With the female hunter feeling some odd, maternal instincts towards the infant after losing her own weeks prior, she couldnât bring herself to kill her. So they took her and raised her as one of their own â but used her powers for their greater good, hunting supernaturals.
They named her Theodora, and she became their infiltrator. They never lied to her about what she was (only how they came about her), so that she could develop her powers without fear, and could use them to kill other dark creatures. Sheâs been trained from a young age to hunt, deceive, and kill supernatural beings, and she does it well - though she is sometimes at odds with her âcallingâ. In April of 2020, the clan of hunters that her adopted parents belonged do was raided. Four were captured, all others were killed. After an escape attempt went awry, only two remained and were shipped to Wayward Rose to pay for their crimes. Theodora is one of them.

Freyr was born over 3000 years ago as a member of a European coven. His village preferred to remain unseen to the outside world. They were slaughtered when he was a mere boy, at the age of five, by hunters. Freyr was found and taken in by a group of unseelie, who miraculously, did not eat the boy., They raised him, and he adapted to their ways. They preferred to stay in the shadows, but the older that Freyr got, the more that he wanted to go out and take the world by the reigns. So he stayed with his adoptive family for a century, until the humans that he toyed with to entertain himself, could no longer. He left his group to explore.
He spent his time traveling, finding that he had a bit of a taste for all of the decadent desires of the world. He saw nearly all humans as playthings, even other supernaturals to a point. Only other fae were considered his equal. Freyr became known as a âfamiliar tamerâ to his brethren for his ability to break down even the strongest of familiars to forge bonds with the witch who paid for them. He was in Massachusetts during the Salem witch trials, and found enjoyment in the discord. He was friends with a few of the witches there, but found it amusing how quick the humans were to turn on each other for the slightest things. They truly were the lesser species.
He acted purely of his own accord until his closest friend, a witch, came to him with a request. He needed a demon, a familiar to be bound to him. Freyr did so, but also found his fun in torturing her as well⌠Until something began to shift in him. Their little captive and her cute as a button face, began to weave itâs way into his disgusting heart. He became possessive of her. He acted on impulse and broke the bond between the familiar and the other witch, but she ran before he could get to her. He hunted her for years until he completely lost trace of the little fox.
In the evolving years, Freyr made his money through private auctions - making millions to place collectors with beautiful pieces of whatever they could possibly want. He enjoyed his job. In 2020 a close friend and client called him to tell him about his find - a mean, little fox familiar with blonde hair and a cute face that one would just need to see. He returned to Wayward Rose. He watched her from a distance at first, but now it was time to get reacquainted. In June of 2020, he was appointed as Alpha witch, and given a council seat.

Biography
Cyn Cardenas was born in a small village in Spain near Barcelona. She belonged to the Azuli Coven, and had one older sister. Together, they were known as âLas VĂborasâ - the vipers. They were young witches with a powerful affinity for magic, and a bitter bite, so to speak. Cyn moved to Wayward Rose at the age of 25, and proved herself as a reliable and capable witch. She was there for nine years before she left to visit her family, but was swept into a war between her coven, and a clan of vampires. The vampires were killing, and the witches aimed to stop them. What they were not expecting was interference.
The night before their planned attack, during a full moon, a pack of werewolves swarmed their village in the dead of night. They shredded through the witches, though blood was spilled from both sides. The next morning, there was blood everywhere and among it lay Cyn, dying from fatal injuries. A woman approached her, the alpha to the pack, and intrigued by how hard the witch fought to survive, she bit her.
Will won out and Cyn survived, though as a sire, the woman kept her on a short leash. She kept her close, despite Cynâs hatred of her. The woman was cruel, but she protected Cyn. Some may even say that she loved her, in some sick way. She even brought Cyn the heads of the vampires who had hired the attack.
She was kept with them for 5 years, until Cyn finally left and ran. The woman tracked her down each time. For protection, Cyn returned to Wayward Rose in 2020 where she reintegrated herself as an Elite and had to face all of those she left years before, now as a wolf, not as a witch.

Evelyn, or Eve as she prefers, was created during the Italian Renaissance. The Italian catholic church had by then started tribunals for women accused of witchcraft, and many of them were desperate in their need for aid. And yet Eve roamed the major cities without coming across a witch she was ready to or wanted to serve. Instead she observed, learned and often joined various families if they treated her dog self with respect and an abundance of love. She was a demanding dog with many quirks, though for the fine ladies of the court or the wives of politicians, even lonely cardinals, she was a very desirable pet. Suffice to say that if she was not fawned over and spoiled, she did not stay. After living by her own choices and whims for nearly seventy years before a very crafty warlock, who had infiltrated the church as a highly respected cardinal, used a spell to forcibly bond her to him. While he always claimed that he had done it out of desperation, Eve never believed that to be the truth. And no matter how harshly he threatened her or how many times he beat her bloody, she refused to bond with him. All his methods were inspired by force, and while the familiar could to a degree respect his determination, she never forgave him for his ruthless ways of making her comply. During one of those dark nights locked in her room, the girl hatched a plan. She would use whatever she could in order to get him discredited and seen as a sinner. Her plan took time, and she charmed people left and right to get their assistance, but in the end she got him kicked out of the church for blasphemy and imprisoned for child pornography. She also had the aid of a witch that helped her put a spell on her master so that he would be imprisoned for a fairly long time. Still, she had burned a man that would go to the ends of the earth to repay her for her treachery.. and so Eve did the sensible thing, she changed her name and she went underground. Hell she even left her beloved Europe behind in terms of unfamiliar and gritty America.
For a short while, life was scrumptious. Her freedom returned. Nothing could go wrong, right? Wrong. Crossing the path of a much more powerful demon, Eve managed to get on her bad side, and the demon in question grabbed her by the hair and delivered her to Thorn Havenâs gates as punishment. Now put in another cage, Eve is just as determined to escape, and entirely disinterested in being bossed around a second time. Â
PERSONALITY
Eve is, to her core, a spoiled brat. She is used to getting her way, used to people fawning at her and telling her sheâs pretty and getting whatever she wants served on a plate. Whenever she hasnât had this treatment in her life, sheâs been incredibly miserable and she has let everyone around her know that. However, beneath her attitude thereâs a loyal girl who will go to great lengths for the ones she cares for or those who might care for her. Eveâs resourcefulness has only grown over the years, and made her very creative when sheâs cornered. She might not act right away, but she will eventually strike back and payback can be a bitch. Still sheâs also artistic and likes to think in pictures, drawing out her ideas. Over the years she has picked up a fair amount of odd jobs simply in order to have something to do and make money should she need it, and one of her favorite is making dresses or designing looks. Fashion is a passion of hers without a doubt. But sheâs also worked as a harpist and several times as a dancer and singer on big stages. When Eve is passionate about something, she becomes vibrant, light and downright peppy. She loves attention and can be oddly reminiscent of a child starving for praise and adoration whenever someone pays her special mind. And yet if you speak to her without manners or disrespect someone she cares about, she is all snark and can hold a grudge like no one else.
