░ ♢ * — GOODBYE, GEORGIA.
THE REST OF THE STORY → ( UNWRITTEN ) — After much debate, Georgia decided not to spend the rest of the summer in Rhett’s house; therefore, she chose to live in her cottage for the remaining weeks of summer. See photos here. Georgia graduated from Brown with high honors, proceeding to attend graduate school after graduating. At age twenty-six, while pregnant with Elisa, she met one of her old Brown professors, Marcus Winthrop Jacques, kindling a romance from there. They married two months later, soon to be a happy family of five. She, then, received her doctorate in medicine. The family summered in Gulf Shores; however, during the year, they resided in Augusta, Maine. Their wealth, immense, allowed for the family to travel. On one tragic day, Georgia Rosalinda Jacques died, at age forty. See here for more information.
WHAT THE FUTURE HOLDS → ( MOTHER DEAREST ) — Georgia cut ties with her mother when entering her sophomore year at Brown. However, upon graduation day, Georgia’s mother realized Georgia could stand on her own two feet and succeed. She did not need years and years of etiquette lessons, mindless manners, and to conform to Southern society’s expectations of young women. She came to the conclusion the new Georgia needed a mother to love her, not judge her.
RED STRING OF FATE → ( SUMMER FRIENDS, OH WHERE DID THEY GO? ) — Oliver.

“there was a young boy, and I found him crying while on the beach. I walked up to him, and asked him what was wrong. he said that his mother was no where to be found. to cut a long story short, I bought him some ice cream, and his mother showed up about five minutes later. to see them embrace, tears in her eyes, due to the fact she had thought she lost her son, was heartwarming. I loved every moment of it.”
“Reminds me of the times when I would lose my mother in the grocery store and I would be all in a tizzy. I mean, the nanny. My mother did not occupy herself with idle tasks. But I am overjoyed you contributed to the wellbeing of our community on this day.”
She is always sitting with her little nose burrowing into books.

mallorytheory:
“i was recently reading this book, and it spoke all about the study of hallucinatory ‘voices’ seeming to be shaped by local culture. in the united states, the voices are known to be harsh and threatening while those heard by schizophrenics in places like africa and india tend to be more benign and playful. what do you think this says about us? i can’t imagine it says anything particularly good, and it makes me wonder just how chaotic our culture as a country is compared to others.”
“I am afraid I cannot give the best opinion on this as I do not study psychology at Brown. What book? A psychology textbook, perhaps? Hallucinatory voices... could you delve into that a bit more? Well, we all know people do not rank the United States particularly high on the happiest countries list. Also, benign. I appreciate your word choice.”
noxnovak:
“good, get your ass in here.” lennox jovially replies as she fills her single empty hand with another cold beer. making her way towards georgia, she offers her the promised reward. taking a sip, her now free hand points to the shimmering fabric that hangs loosely upon the mannequin. “i can’t get the shoulders of the fuckin’ jacket right – i need you to play mannequin until i can. i’ll try to be careful, but fuck – i might poke you.” she giggles, already walking away to grab the unfinished garment and her tools.
Georgia does not trust Lennox, especially not with pins, needles, and Coronas. A deadly combination in which Georgia could suffer from, now acting as the mannequin. “May I ask why you decided to complete a jacket while under the influence? Does not seem like it shall produce the best work.” Georgia curses herself for saying so, perhaps now she planted the idea in Lennox’s head. The cold beer sweats in her head. “Oh, bother. I sure do hope you do not poke me with one of your pins. Those suckers hurt like Hades.”
paigesydney:
“i dont think you understand. people are going to be devastated. the go go dancers serve one purpose and one purpose only, that is to ensure that no one dies of a broken heart while morning yours truly. this is my day, i cannot and will not share it with another attention seeking soul who has used my death as their entrance into the afterlife.”
“Devastated. Well, I look forward to meeting all your friends from outside the house if you should pass over into the next world. Not typically the primary responsibility of Go-go dancers. Of course. No one would dare steal your day away from you. Although you would be dead as a doornail, so you could not tell, but.”

Georgia: Suppose I need to take care of a few things before I leave for college.

Arabella: I mean if that's what you want obviously you should go for it but we will all miss you :(
Georgia: Nothing happened. Perhaps an accumulation of events, but, nevertheless, I think it best I spend some time in my own space before heading back to Brown.
Georgia: I'll miss you too, Arabella! Feel free to visit my cottage.
