crippling lack of energy put into his studies or not , he is GLAD to be at auradon prep ; there’s so much more to do here , and the independence from parents and gaurds nurtured his free - spirit … perhaps more than was really necessary. fairy god mother would chase him up every so often , exasperated with his grades and attendance , and he would pretend to straighten out for a week or two to keep her happy. that is when his funds came into play. most other trouble that cropped up he sweet talked himself out of and more or less continued doing as he pleased. now , he pushes up from the seat , pitiful poetry analysis notes long forgotten already.

besides, amy knows that the night before she’ll be staying up to cram and at least come up with something to turn in, she wouldn’t hurt her grades for that. but then again, she’d always been a painfully average student, doing the bare minimum to get by and to avoid trouble. all caution is thrown to the wind though when she hangs out with her cousins, the troublesome twins as her father would say. they were a terrible influence on someone like her, someone eager to please and wanting to impress. she laughs, following after her cousin as quick as she can to keep up with his long legs. “ why’d you pick the locks anyways? ”
