hi i'll be on for a bit today after 3pst promise!!

She let out a giggle under her breath at the boy’s request. It felt like an eternity since the last time he had called her Char, let alone speak to her at all. She hadn’t really planned on making conversation with anyone when she had arrived at the shop, but it was the least she could do for him when he’d basically saved her butt. “Oh, yeah. I have enough trouble sleeping already without caffeine,” she explained as she took the seat across from him.

“really? i would think you’d be so busy to the point where you’d need the caffeine. aren’t you in like five thousand different clubs now? you must be so busy. or just really good at time management. it’s amazing. you’re like supergirl. or like hermione with the time-turner.” he babbled, finding himself a little nervous as he realized how long it had been since they had anything this close to a hangout. now that he had started talking, he wasn’t sure when he could get himself to stop. afraid he would freak her out, he stopped himself to try and figure out why and how exactly they had drifted apart the past years. “uh, i guess it’s been a while.. you are still into harry potter, right?”

atlas had woken up in a daze and all he knew as that he wanted coffee. he’d made his way to starbucks with his wallet in his hand only to find he didn’t have enough money for the drink he wanted. the person at the till was annoyed by this was ready to throw him up when the guy piped up behind him, atlas gives him an awkward smile, “dude if you could that would be great”

“oh hey, i didn’t even realize it was you. how’s it been, man?” jayden smiled, giving the other a friendly pat. it had been a while since he’d last seen the other, as he normally saw him around with dylan whether it be at home or around school and with all his extra-curriculars and two jobs he couldn’t catch him at either place. “yeah, i’ve got it, don’t worry.”

It had already been an absolutely awful day, and all he needed was for something to drink. He’d came in here thinking that he had about twenty in his pocket, but soon sound out after he ordered that just wasn’t the case. Looking at the cashier in sheer embarrassment, Christian felt like running out as is. His mood changed when Jayden said something to him, catching him off guard. “I uh…” He tried to form at least something to give the other, but ultimately gave in. “Thanks.” Christian took the money without another thought, moving off to the side waiting for the other and his drink after he finished.

“yeah, no problem.” after having paid for his own drink, jayden followed the other for pick up at the other far end of the counter among several other civilians. “so you’re real quiet today, something on your mind or did i just surprise you just now to the point where you’re confused about whether you’re in love with me or not?”

“really? you think so?” and if that single compliment doesn’t fill her with joy, the next one does; a wide, almost painful grin tugging up on her lips. hyebin hugs the book to her chest with joy, nodding eagerly as he set himself up again. “well i wasn’t stalking you! i swear! i came here to draw something and you just happened to be here…” that seemed like a good enough explanation.

she’s back to sketching, graphite moving quickly across the paper as his form came to life before her. his figure was mostly finished, minus a few details, but his facial features and hair hadn’t even been started on. his hair wouldn’t be too hard, since it wasn’t long or dark, but she’d never been the best at faces. it wasn’t like they were bad when she did them, but they certainly weren’t as detailed as her bodies. lifting her gaze up to him once more, hyebin begins on his facial features. “i was just hoping i’d finish before you leave–– in my plan, you were never supposed to find out about me drawing you.”

he put on a fake disappointed look on his face, looking down as he traced the a few blades of grass with his fingertips. “so what you’re saying is, you’re not one of my many suitors? my secret admirer?” he pouted.·“what a shame.”

he couldn’t help watching the tool lightly graze the paper with every movement of her hand, amused with every clear and precise line she made.·“oh. that doesn’t sound creepy at all.” he teased. for a minute or two, his eyes remained glued to the graphite until he realized how long he had refrained from speaking. “oh hey, did you want me to look a certain way? like up, down, or precisely thirty five degrees to the north west? sorry, i just don’t want to screw up my first, and probably last,·modeling job.”
