@ the lifting comm: as much as it may seem as if shit like that list and the lolcow people cant do anything to us, better fucking safe than sorry. we are all committing crimes. we are then posting evidence of said crimes onto the internet to exist forever. weâre incredibly fucking dumb, so letâs just try and minimize okay?
1. donât use the goddamn tags, donât do it, not #lifting, not #liftshopping, not #liftplay or any other one. no matter how obscure it is. why would we want to make a neat little compilation of all of the evidence, and then make it more available for haters to find??? donât do it.
2. get the words âliftâ, âstealingâ, âliftingâ and certainly âshopliftingâ out of your urls and blog titles. thatâs easily found just through the tumblr search system not to mention google. ((i was guilty of this one until recently, bc yes i wanted to be recognized within the comm as a lifter, but itâs not worth the risk))
3. do not interact with haters, doxxers, or even neutral non-lifting blogs. it brings unnecessary attention to yourself and the whole lifting community. donât try to argue with or taunt them, they will just become more motivated to hurt more of us. donât respond to hate, anon or not, and certainly dont seek out anti-lifting posts (((im talkin bout the list. saying âwhy arent i on thisâ is just. no))))) and respond to them. try not to even follow too many non-lifting blogs, on the off chance they turn out to be srs lifting haters.
4. if one of your posts gets really popular outside of the lifting community (i.e. the lobster lifting post, the cat lift, etc), iâm sorry but just delete it, change your url, maybe make ya blog password protected for a few days. you dont need thousands of anti-lifters to know about your blog
5. dont reblog those âreblog if youre a non-rp, active lifter!â posts. it creates a neat list of tons of people in the community for anti-lifters to look through and use however they like.
6. for gods sake, remember the basics of internet anonymity ok??? have a totally different email account for lifting, dont use similar usernames, dont give out personal info, and remove exif data (if u dont know what that is or how to, google)
