This isn’t a hurr durr technology is bad folks. This is pointing out the dangers of LIVING online. In moderation technology is a wonderful thing. You can expand your business. You can keep connected with loved ones no matter the distance. You can educate yourself and you can find funny content to keep you entertained.

But to become dependent on things like social media, you’ll find there is a very real danger there. It starts to effect your mental health and you can develop or worsen things like depression and social anxiety. There is such a standard to uphold in social media. Who looks best, has the best car, does the most trips…who is doing “best” in life in general. It’s not about sharing anymore, it’s a competition.

You are also constantly being bombarded with bad news. Global warming, social and economic issues, injustice, political corruptness, etc. it’s too much at once for a human brain to process and handle. Technology is such a marvelous thing, just be aware not to become consumed by it.
