Fast From Wrong Thinking: "I'm Stuck"

Today we are fasting from the thought that says, “I’m stuck.”

We’ve all thought that at times, but it’s a lie. There’s always a way out of what you’re in; or a way into what you’ve been kept out of.

The devil would love for you to believe you are stuck, and that there’s no way out of the situation you’re experiencing. He wants you discouraged, immobilized, and paralyzed. LET’S CHANGE IT TODAY 1. Believe in the ministry of the Holy Spirit in your everyday life. Romans 8:26 says, “We don’t always know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit intercedes for us …” No matter what your situation is, the Holy Spirit knows how to bring about God’s will for your life, as you pray and thank Him.

2. Think this thought today: PRAYER CHANGES THINGS. There’s nothing you can’t impact through prayer. Prayer gets you unstuck. It gets you moving again. Prayer is powerful. “And all things, whatsoever you shall ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive” (Matthew 21:22).

3. Believe that faith finds a way. In Mark 2:1–5, the friends of the paralyzed man could not find a way into the house where Jesus was. They were stuck, but they believed there was another way. They went up on the roof and lowered him down through the ceiling tiles, and the man was healed. Why? Because faith found a way! If we don’t think it, we won’t look for it.

4. Remember, Jesus is the fourth man in the fire. When it seemed like the three men in Daniel 3 were going to be burned in the fiery furnace, Jesus showed up! What was an impossible situation was made possible, because Jesus was with them. And He is with you now!

5. Jesus is your way. “I am the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:6). He is the way when there just seems to be no way. He is your way out of whatever situation you are in. Expect Him to make a way.

6. Just think: Next step. When Jesus was tempted to not go to the cross, the Bible says, “He went forward a little …” (Mark 14:35). When you feel stuck, like there’s nothing you can do, just take a step. Don’t think about all the steps. Just take the next one. In a relationship, the first step may be just saying you’re sorry. If it’s finances, maybe it’s just cutting one area of spending or giving one extra offering. Move forward a little! THINK IT & SAY IT

The Holy Spirit is interceding for me when I feel stuck. He is moving in me and through me.

I think and believe there is always a way. Even when it seems like there is no way, Jesus is the Way.

He is with me no matter what fire I’m facing. When I feel stuck, I will think about one step I can take that will move me toward healing, blessing, and God’s will for my life, in Jesus’ Name!

Jésus Christ est le seul espoir pour le monde, personne autre ne peut satisfaire mon âme que Lui. Les richesses de ce monde passeront, cette terre passera, mais Christ subsistera. Même si les océans se déchainent, Christ demeure fidèle et au contrôle de toutes choses.

Jesus my saviour

Our true value doesn't lie in our abilities but rather in our identity as CHILD OF GOD. Dieu m'apprend à être dépendante de lui, à reconnaître qu'Il est souverain. C'est seulement en Christ que je suis pleinement satisfaite. Personne ne peut combler mon âme. Et pourtant, je l'oublie souvent, je dois heurter un mur pour revenir à la vérité. La grâce de Dieu est un cadeau immérité.

Welcome back

La vie va si vite, on cours partout, il y a tant de besoin partout. La meilleure décision, que j’ai pris en 22 ans, est sans aucun doute de suivre Jésus Christ, de le laisser prendre toute la place dans ma vie. Quand je regarde ma vie, je suis incapable de renier l’existence de Dieu. Cela fait presque 2 mois que j’ai terminé l’école biblique. Quelle année enrichissante, bénissante. J’ai pu rencontrer tellement de personnes merveilleuse.

Revenir à la maison, les anciennes habitudes nous attendent à la porte. Les dernières semaines ont été difficiles. C’est temps-ci Dieu me montre à que je ne peux pas le servir lui et autre chose. Il me montre mes idoles. Lorsque quelque chose autre que Dieu prend trop de place, prend sa place, Il peut décider de nous le retirer ou nous éprouver pour nous faire comprendre qu’Il est au contrôle, que c’est lui qui donne et reprend. Le problème avec les idoles, c’est que souvent ce sont de très bonnes choses, mais l’ordre ne devrait pas être mélangé. Dieu doit avoir la première place. Lorsque notre coeur est à la bonne place, lorsque nous sommes pleinement satisfait en Christ, c’est là que nous pouvons apprécier les autres choses.

Connor Mead: Get over it. It was years ago! With some slutty friend of yours! A friend incidentally, that you're not even mad at. And you know why? Because you don't actually care. You love Paul so much you forgave him the second you heard, and that's what scares you.

Sandra: You have no idea how I feel. No idea!

Connor Mead: Yes, I do. I've been in your shoes. You know what? It scared the hell out of me too. What if she hurt me? What if she left me? What if she died? It would have been the end of me. So I cut it short, before she ever could. And you know what? It was the biggest mistake I ever made. And you're making the same mistake right now, and I'll be goddamned if I'm going to sit by and watch. You've got to risk love Sandra! I didn't and look at me! I'm a lonely ghost of a man. It doesn't mean that you're never going to get hurt, but the pain you feel will never compare to the regret that comes from walking away from love. And from someone who's felt a lot of both trust me, regret beats pain everyday of the week and twice on Sunday. Don't run away. Don't do it.

Connor Mead: Now. Do you still want to get married?

[Sandra looks up, smiles, and hugs him]

L’amour ce n’est pas une question de feeling ni qu’est-ce que cette relation va me rapporter ou me couter, mais plutôt un engagement. Aimer, mais quand c’est difficile. Aimer, lorsqu’on ne semble plus avoir la force. 

Christ m’a aimé alors que j’étais contre lui, Il m’a aimé inconditionnellement.

Je veux aimer comme Christ.

Il n’y a en lui ni changement ni ombre de variation.

Il y a des moments où je ne comprend pas le but de mon existence. Il y a des moments où j’ai mal à mon âme. Il y a des moments où j’aimerais ce qui se passe autour de moi. Il y a des moments où j’ai envie de crier si fort. Il y a des moments où j’ai envie de danser. Il y a des moments où j’ai envie de courir sous la pluie. Il y a des moments où j’aimerais être avec toi. Il y a des moments où je doute. 

J’éprouve beaucoup de difficulté à faire confiance à ceux qui m’entourent. Encore une fois, je sens ma confiance ébranlé, mais je veux me réjouir dans le Seigneur.

Je n’arrive pas à saisir l’entièreté de mon environnement, ni même ma vie. J’ai une certitude, Dieu veille sur moi. Quand je regarde derrière moi, je peux voir la main du Créateur dans ma vie. Je peux voir qu’il me dirige à bon port. Alors pourquoi arrêtera-t-Il maintenant? Ma vie est fondée sur Christ, en Lui seul est mon espérance.
