reminder that if you ever meet a sweet, morally good, chivalrous knight: it's your most sincere obligation to corrupt them. "but my vows," this, "this is against the rules," that. if you haven't completely fucked up their entire code of conduct and destroyed all ability to discern right from wrong without you being the one to tell them by the time you're done with them, then you need to up your game. inside that pretty, rule-following chained dog of a knight is someone yearning to be set free of their self-imposed shackles, and it's your duty to help them get there.
Why else would they allow themselves to be shackled, unless they believed they needed to be controlled, that something inside them was already rotten and dangerous? All you have to do is convince them to hand over the end of their lead.
Don't tell Pally I'm reblogging this.

Quick TTRPG question...
If you have a male DM, how many NPCs are they allowed to introduce (questgivers, guards, enemies, rivals) before they should be required to make one of them a woman? How many sessions should they be allowed to go making men the only characters in their world with speaking roles?
Like, unless there is a plot reason, maybe 3 at most. Like, if its a segregated prison complex, i see it, but surely there is a guard or lawyer or visitor at least.
I would say probably like
3 at most yeah, like warshaper said
Unless there would be a generally good reason for an absence of women there shouldn't be one
We're at like 3-4 sessions and every named NPC the party has encountered has been male, except for the Paladin's deity. 3 employers, a bunch of guards and shopkeeps, several enemies and rivals.
This is on top of the DM telling us 'there's no fantasy racism at my table' and then including
Dhampir living in an isolated community out of caution that people will be nervous about them, after fleeing their ancestral home to avoid being enslaved by vampires.
Loxodon spirits haunting land that was theirs traditionally, but they were pushed out and killed in the name of colonialism.
*whistles*
Damn
That is quite the situation
