Advice for Earth (some of which generally applicable) OOC here rq: NOBODY TAKE MY CHARACTER'S YELLING AS OFFICIAL ADVICE. If you have to deal with a natural disaster or emergency of some kind, listen to what officials and experts are advising! This is just my silly medic character trying to have to drag less mechs out of floods. Okay now we can continue.

Nobody wins when they fight nature. If Megatron sends you out in a storm, that can't be helped, but please stay inside when skies aren't clear if you can.

If you can signal your location, and there are no imminent threats, stay where you are! It makes it easier to find you.

If there IS an imminent threat (I cannot advise on combat): Earthquake: Get under something that is ideally tougher than you. Best case scenario is to be indoors. Tuck your helm in with servos over it while kneeling to protect your sparkchamber and helm! Flood: Get to high ground. For the love of Primus, if you are not a marine build, DO NOT JUST WALK THROUGH THERE! Tornado: If you are outside and cannot get inside, get to flat land and DO NOT BE UNDER SOMETHING. Just hit the deck. Thunderstorm: Lightning is most likely to strike tall conductors. That is us. If you are flying, land. Lay flat, stay away from other tall objects such as trees, and wait for the storm to clear.

If you cannot signal your location: Call for help, and describe your surroundings the best you can. If possible, ask a human for the name of your location. It's not dishonorable, I promise they are too terrified of you to even consider that. Further OOC under cut!

I couldn't find an ask meme made specifically for Cybertronian OCs, so I decided to throw something together myself!

As a warning, this is very much IDW-inspired. Don't forget to specify which OC you're asking for, and practice good reblog karma! :3

1. What is your OC's full name, if they have one? (as in Rodimus of Nyon, Getaway of the Corcapsia Incursion etc.)

2. Was your OC forged or constructed cold?

3. What's the earliest significant story event they can remember/were involved in?

4. Does your OC have an amica endura? If not, is there someone they'd like to be their amica?

5. Ditto conjunx endura; do they have one? If not, is there anybody they fantasise about completing the ritus with?

6. What is their relationship with their alt mode? Are they content with it? Do they use it whenever they get a chance, or only when absolutely necessary?

7. Is your OC religious? If so, what religion do they follow? (e.g. Neoprimalism, Spectralism etc.)

8. The Empyrean Suite starts playing out of nowhere. How does your OC react?

9. Imagine your OC somehow ascends to Primehood. Do they take on a different name? What sort of Prime would they be?

10. Who are their closest allies? Are any of them surprising?

11. Are there any bots they really clash with? (This could be the pettiest of squabbling to full-blown nemeses!)

Plotline: Bergschrund at the robo rave

The medic headed straight for the bar from the moment he got in, in a hurry to make sure nobody thought he was here for professional reasons. Being that he was rather thin for as durable a vehicle as a snocat, it didn't take long until he was tipsy. It was a liiittle funny to watch, considering his snowshoe-shaped pedes kept him stable while the loose treads on his forelimbs and his layered torso plating kept wobbling like laminated paper, and forget the many appendages making up his headcrest!

Bergschrund was headed back to the medbay only to find the ship's communications officer cosplaying a tripwire. It was a good thing he was looking down, or he would have tripped over it, being that Soundwave matched the colors of both shadows and Megatron's choice in interior design.

"...Soundwave?" He leaned in and squinted.

Theres only a small scraping sound as Soundwave turns its helm to look up at the medic. It lets out a little huff at the sound of its name before slowly giving the mech a thumbs up. Did it know what the gesture meant? No, not exactly. But, alas, it knew enough to know it was something positive.

"This is by choice, then? Are you at least willing to move somewhere where you are less likely to be tripped over?"

The thumbs up turns into a thumbs down. Soundwave thunks its head back onto the floor. This is its spot. If someone wants to trip over it, let them trip! In fact, Soundwave actually has this time scheduled under "Once yearly public nuisance allowance." It had scheduled this time far in advance, and it was not going to give it up so easily.

"Would you rather I move you out of the hallway?" Ah, yes, something that will for sure be interpreted as neutral as intended.

A growl from its engines fills the hallway as Soundwave emphasizes the thumbs down with a little shake of its servo. It turns its helm back towards Bergschrund. Its visor is lit up with a calendar, which clearly states that this is its mandated floor time. It will not be interrupted.

Bergschrund put his hooks for servos up, and did seem to relent by leaving... until he came back with the wet floor sign. It seemed propping this up here to at least get people to check where they walked was good enough for him.
