my first batch had a bit more personality, but I loved the consistency of the second batch. I decorated them with dyed white chocolate.

i totally recommend meringue cookies with a chocolate bottom! it gives the cookies another layer of bite.

Pepper is a replacement janitor when Waterboy is chosen over Phenomaman. She's not quite a member of the Phoenix program, but has a history of petty theft amounting to felony theft (...or maybe stealing from the federal cheese caves). Instead of serving her sentence in prison, she's working at SND and house arrest.

Her abilities are shrinking to the size of a mouse and her prehensile tail, so she is able to reach in some hard to reach places while cleaning (or stealing). While not a useful ability, her front teeth continue to grow.

As a person, PJ is quiet and to herself. She finds janitorial work meditative... except for the disgusting bathrooms- finding bloody shrapnel and figuring out heroes don't aim any better than regular people. Though, more irritating than that, are rude people. Penny has no issue playing a match of verbal tennis, but would prefer to lay low. She dresses plainly to avoid attention, but secretly looks up to Prism's confidence and sense of style when they've met in passing.

alice's disability advocacy naturally led her to palestine solidarity as the quote from the blog post announcing 'crips for esims' illustrates:

this was super interesting ... went to a free class about "fidget quilts" for people with dementia. I think I'll try making something similar for babies in my family, since it's softer than a busy board.

honestly it was fun getting out of my comfort zone and making something just to make it without any rhyme or reason. The aesthetics were out of my control, and the goal was to finish it in 2 ½ hours... so it was not my cleanest work- but enjoyable!! the binding looks horrid since I was really just trying to get on with it as fast as possible... there weren't even seam rippers available, any mistake you made was a happy accident!
