KNOWING ONE SELF

Others can find discussing strengths and weaknesses to be a tedious subject. It's even possible to call it "basic." For certain people, knowing their strengths and weaknesses is second nature, but for others with a curious mind, this experience has turned into a fascinating one.

Strengths will remain strengths, and flaws will remain flaws. If we intervene, they will continue to be themselves. What we thought was a strength could turn out to be a weakness at some stage in our lives. In the other way, a weakness that we may have feared as children may turn out to be a valuable asset as we get older.

This serves as a reminder to keep an open mind. Growing old and learning go hand in hand. Let us keep an open mind and continue to learn and evolve as we go through life, and may we never forget this: Our flaws do not make us less of a person; rather, they make us more human-like.

DEVELOPING THE WHOLE PERSON

We are now in the third quarter of this school year and personal development taught me a lot in life. I have learned and understand a lot in this lesson. I am able to understand how to know more someone as a whole, and not just some part of them. I have realized that people shouldn’t really judge others based on only several aspects that they see because those aspects do not define the wholeness of a person. I have also come to realize how important it is to socialize yourself  because it will cause you not just happiness, but a longer and healthier life as well.

THE CHALLENGES IN THE MIDDLE AND LATE ADOLESCENCE

In most situations, we come to the conclusion that obstacles are nothing more than roadblocks to our progress. This is a situation that mostly affects middle adolescents. Pubescence, on the other hand, is a time when our minds are more likely to wander. We want to get outside of our comfort zones and try new stuff. Nonetheless, these kinds of acts may have both positive and negative consequences. It's possible that we won't be appreciated by others during this point. It could be the cause of our disconnection at this stage.

But, I believe that challenges serve as a secret gem in a person's life, serving as a lesson to teach each of us to reinforce our own worth as a person, our own purpose in life, and to be appreciative of the fondness of our success. If we put all of our time and effort into improving that specific thing, it is impossible for us not to cherish that milestone. Finally, this aspect will teach us how to recognize our true identities.

COPING WITH STRESS

Life is a difficult journey; our lives can be compared to a spinning wheel, in which we encounter both successes and failures. We appear to feel emotions as well as physical tension as a result of how our bodies cope with the impact of being threatened when our value in life is suddenly diminished. In case you're interested, stress is divided into two types: good and bad stress. We can tell whether a stressor is good or bad if it helps a person develop their skills, while bad stress can be identified if you start to lose yourself, with signs such as sudden shifts in emotions and behavior.

I personally experience these situations, especially now that everyone is overburdened with activities from online class and the pandemic, but I manage to cope in a variety of ways, including eating, watching netflix, having a conversation with my favorite person and running into some trustworthy friends for some motivation. I was able to overcome those obstacles by adopting the correct mentality. Taking time for myself taught me that it is necessary to relax and that you should not be afraid to arrange time for yourself to rest both physically and mentally.

THE LATERALIZATION OF THE BRAIN

The brain is one of the most important organs in the human body; it acts as a satellite, transmitting signals across the body to various glands, which serve as receivers. It is divided into parts for rational and imaginative activities, and our minds are capable of doing whatever we want. It is a tangible representation of a mind map as both handwritten and computerized abilities are present. It brings a special touch to a previously performed mission and helps us to deliver more exciting results.

We sometimes ask ourselves some self degrading questions such as "Why can this individual do this when I can't?" I am guilty of engaging in this form of behavior. But this is one of the attributes of being human: we are never happy with what we have, and we continually seek to learn new things in order to fulfill our responsibilities, which can also be the cause of someone's downfall.  it turns out, this subject is eye-opening not just for me, but for everyone, as it shows the diversity of human capabilities. This is a reminder that a lack of capabilities in a specific topic is normal; it is completely unexceptional if I am not capable of doing anything that I have seen others do, but I can remember that there is a hidden skill inside me; both of our worlds and capabilities are vast; make a plan and be organized; prevail creativeness; all we need to do is continue to discover what we are capable of.

EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE

Personal intelligence is intelligence that includes thought about personality and information about personality, as described here. – Each of us has a personality, and we can use personal intelligence to reason about ourselves and other people. For example, if we see that another person has a pattern of behavior, such as being good at solving problems, being late, or being kind, we can use our intellect to describe the person and, in certain cases, predict her future behavior.

PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP

Relationship with God

One of the most special and significant aspects of your life is your relationship with God. You will face difficulties at some stage in your life. It can get to the point where you start to doubt everything and wonder why you're in this situation in the first place. This is the point at which your relationship with God becomes essential. We may wonder why things are happening the way they are, or whether God himself is to blame. My family has instilled in me the belief that I can never doubt God. I don't doubt him because what normally happens at that point in time is preparing me for the future in some way. 

God will direct you by signs and spirit if you have a spiritual relationship with Him. For example, instead of doing what is wrong or seems to be right, you will be able to make better decisions. As a Christian, I must admit that wanting to do what is wrong seems to be the best option, but in fact, it does not help but rather destroys you. Nothing good comes from making mistakes, and if it does, it is just for a short time. Through prayer, you will be able to affect others, including yourself. Prayer is one of those things that can make a difference in any situation. It can be delayed at times, but it is still on schedule.

We may not be able to control anything, but we can control ourselves. Prayer strengthens you and allows God to fight your battles on your behalf. Having a personal relationship with God will help you develop as an individual in general. Personally, maintaining a relationship with God while in college has and continues to support me in a variety of ways. I'll also add that since I've been here, my relationship with God has greatly improved. Your relationship with God is one-of-a-kind, and it takes time, patience, and a willingness to change to cultivate.
