There was a wall between the two of you. An invisible barrier that you had placed to separate yourself from him, and it was killing him slowly.

He hated that his life was not within his own control. He hated how you felt the same as well.

“Y/n…” Todoroki called out your name, only for you to turn away in response. It pained him to see you push him away like this, but he refused to give up. There was no way he was going to let you go. After all, you were the person who he had fallen in love with. “Y/n, look at me.”

He grabbed your hand and that was when you finally looked at him. He froze once he caught sight of the tears that filled your eyes, knowing very well what that look you were giving him had meant.

It was over. You wanted to give up on this relationship.

“We can still do this,” he said desperately, even though you both knew that it was a lie. “Even if they found out, we can still be together.”

“How, Shouto?” You asked tearfully. “Our family hate each other. There’s no way your father would ever come to accept me, and my father would never accept you.”

That was right, your family were enemies. Your parents did not get along with Endeavor, and they realized just now that you two were dating. Their reaction was not great, as you had expected, and now they were pushing for you two to marry other people.

“Your father wants you to get married to that other woman…” You said, feeling the pain wretch itself into your heart. Then, forcing a bitter smile onto your face, you said the next few words bitterly. “She’s very pretty, isn’t she? I’m sure you’ll be able to forget about me once you get married to her.”

But Todoroki only looked at you as if you were crazy. How could you suggest that he marry another woman? How could you be so resolute on giving up?

It was probably the wisest decision in your eyes, but Todoroki Shouto was sick of his father deciding his fate for him. He was tired of having him take control of his own life. He wanted to be the one to choose who he would love and marry. He wanted to choose you, the most beautiful person who he had ever laid his eyes upon, the person who made him feel emotions that he had never felt before.

While he could see why you would want to give up, the thought of you being with some other man your parents had arranged a marriage with drove him angry with jealousy. He could only imagine how you must be feeling when you said you were letting him go to another woman. He refused though. He refused to have anyone else.

“I don’t want her,” he said. “I don’t want her because she’s not you, y/n.”

“Shouto—“ you called out. “Please, don’t make this harder for the both of us.”

“No,” he said adamantly. “You know I want you right? It has to be you, and nobody else.”

“I want you too, but what are we going to do about our parents? They’ll never accept our relationship.”

“I don’t care. My feelings for you will never change.”

You gripped his hand. The tears dripped down your cheek as you admitted your feelings back. “My feelings for you will never change either, but I don’t think we’re meant to be, Shouto.” You sniffled, bringing his hands to your lips as you kissed them tenderly. He hated it. He hated how you kissed it like it was the last time you’d ever hold him again. “There’s so many obstacles standing in our way. It’s as if fate is saying no to us.”

Fate. That was the word he hated the most. It implied that he had no control over his life. He wanted to defy fate, grasp his life within his hands, and pave out his own destiny.

“We’ll change fate then,” he replied, gripping your hands tightly as if saying he was refusing to let go. “I’ll rewrite all of the stars in the universe for you if I have to.”

“How could we rewrite the stars?” You asked. “It’s impossible—“

“It is possible. It’s possible if it’s you and I.” His bold declaration took you by surprise. You wondered where he was even going with all of this? “I’m sick of our family deciding for our futures. I say, let’s decide our own future, y/n. Let’s rewrite the stars and make the universe our own.”

“How? How on earth are we going to do that?”

He gave you a smile. It was small, yet comforting in its own way. He was willing to throw everything away for you. He wanted to become his own person, and he wanted you to be your own person too. He wanted freedom.

“Let’s run away, y/n.”

If Tamaki or Nejire asked him what made him fall in love with you he could say a million amazing things about you.

The first day he saw you he instantly fell in love with you especially when the teacher made the whole class show off their quirks and progress.

Once you showed yours everyone was in awe watching you especially Mirio (Tamaki being his long time best friend already knew the look Mirio made when he was in love so he knew)

“Tamaki aren’t they amazing! I’ve never seen someone look so graceful while using thier quirk!” Tamaki chuckled “Mirio I think you’re in love with them.” “W-What?! No way.. am I? Heck who cares? I am!” He shouts happily.

Will do everything in his power to impress you during training (which works because you’ll give side glances over to him)

When you start talking to him he dies inside he can’t believe he’s finally talking with you! Mirio and you start hanging out a lot especially in class.

Tamaki and Nejire are rooting him on to ask you out, but it takes Mirio a while to get to that base of asking you out.

Oh god Tamaki.EXE has stopped working. Mirio knows how in love Tamaki is when he starts talking about you while blushing and stuttering.. AND YOU’RE NOT EVEN AROUND.

You were intern at Fat Gum’s agency and there’s where Tamaki met you. He was shy a bit at first, but you two still got along find. When it came to patrolling around with Fat Gum though he instantly knew why he fell in love with you.

The way you used your quirk it was beautiful even Fat Gum was taken back with surprise as he watched you fight against a few low villains “Y/H/N! That was amazing kid you really have something going for you! Right SunEater?”

It happened during the USJ incident you were there with Aizawa and Thirteen to help out with class 1A for the rescue training. The poor class didn’t even get to start their training because suddenly villains were coming out through a portal and well.. it was action time for you and Aizawa.

You’re too busy dealing with the other villains that you don’t notice Aizawa getting manhandle by a Nomu, but when you do OOOO nobody was prepared even shigaraki got shivers watching you.

Obviously you didn’t defeat the Nomu, but you managed to get Aizawa to a safer place (honestly he feels like he owes you a large debt for saving his life)

After that Aizawa can’t stop thinking about you and how you saved him when Hizashi notices the sudden mood change he calls Aizawa out “what? What the hell are you even talking about?”

“Isn’t it obvious?! You’re in love with Y/N aren’t you? I know they saved your life during the USJ attack just admit it!” Aizawa sighs, but he doesn’t deny what Hizashi is saying either.

You’re just too perfect.. maybe too perfect for him, but there’s no denying how in love he is with you.

One day though you come up and talk to him (obviously when he’s in his All Might form because no one knew about his secret) and he does everything to impress you, but when you give him the oh so pure smile of yours he falls more in love with you.

when you drove the car for the first time, tokoyami and dark shadow were convinced that they were both going to die 💀

he’s tugging at the seat belt, as you go faster— cackling as you drive the car even faster

he’s practically saying his last words at this point, and you can only laugh as you arrive to your destination

then, he’ll grow to love this side of you— and he’ll be practically unfazed when the signs of you speeding start to grow.

he’s a mix of both of them tbh. when he’s agitated, he’ll be a little passive aggressive on the road

but there are times where you guys are just relaxing, while he drives the car.
