Finally posting my first nrmt fic
It's the 30th anniversary of The Swan Princess movie, so it’s perfect timing to release the prologue of my 1st nrmt AU fic, The Swan Prince!

Summary:
After tragedy befalls both the Edgeworth and Fey-Wright families, childhood friends Gregory and Misty take comfort in the fact that they still have each other, and an idea emerges: arrange for betrothals of their children to ultimately unite their kingdoms. The plan for their children to fall in love is successful... just not in the way they had anticipated.
Meanwhile, unbeknownst to all, the evil enchanter Manfred von Karma plots his revenge on King Gregory. After his first attempt to seize control of the Edgeworth kingdom resulted in failure and his banishment, von Karma is aided by an unexpected ally and devotes the following years to becoming more powerful than before—so much so that he is able to conceal his renewed practice of the forbidden arts from the Feys.
With his new angle of attack, neither family is prepared for what is to come, and only Phoenix’s determination to prove his everlasting love for Miles can break von Karma’s spell.
I'm so excited to start sharing this, I started developing it in summer. So far only the prologue is 100% done (and the length snuck up on me at around 7K words lol BUT there is of course quite a bit of set-up happening here), I do have my ideas all scripted out for the rest of the story, just need to focus on writing more (I just take a lot of time with my editing... but thankfully I have very cool and helpful beta readers)

Oh also happy birthday to Franziska - I decided to headcanon her birthday as Nov 18th since it's National Princess Day lmao (and I keep that consistent in all my WIPs, as well as all the birthdays that I established for characters in this story, because it's just funny to me)
