sex (male/female) is a neutral, medical fact indicating nothing other than biology
no longer enforcing since literally before birth till death that males and females must act in different ways, wear different clothes, take different positions in work/home/society, love only the opposite sex, have different goals in life, etcâŠ
activities, personality traits, careers, products, clothes, hairstyles etc are not designated to males/females or considered âmasculineâ/âfeminineâ
this does not include biological properties or functions being male/masculine or female/feminine (birth, menstruation, breastfeeding, having ovaries, erections, ejaculation, having a prostate, etc). these things, in fact, are the only truly âgenderedâ things
males are not socialized to be entitled to access to female bodies, female labor, or sex in general (this would largely eliminate prostitution as well)
ideally, male violence decreases do to no longer feeling entitled to female bodies and labor (they would not have other males around them providing the example of this behavior)
females are not socialized to value the words, experiences, and needs of males over their own
relationships exist only for companionship and love, not to satisfy societally placed expectations
marriage is between two equal lovers only for the purpose of financial stability when opening a bank, buying property, having insurance, having children etc⊠(this exists only in a capitalist society as well)children do not bear the last names of their fathers (not sure the exact solution to this yet but it has to change)
homophobia is eliminated (gender relies on enforced heterosexuality, therefore no gender would be no enforced heterosexuality)
lesbians are not considered masculine, gay men are not considered feminine
gendered and homophobic slurs are eliminated
eliminating industries that rely on gendered marketing, ie makeup industry. in a perfect world makeup could be for males and females equally but currently makeup companies are run mainly by men and sold to women by making them feel as though their natural selves are in need of fixing
eliminating gendered marketing and products entirely: no such thing as menâs/womenâs deodorant, razors, soap, shoes,
other than taking into account the different proportions men and women have when tailoring, eliminating menâs/womenâs clothes
allowing female sexuality to form in a world without phallocentrism, where they know what they want and how to pleasure themselves alone and also with a partner (regardless of their sexual orientation)
female bodies have no intrinsic value placed on them (no ideas of purity, desecration, holiness) and are not used as metaphors in art, religion, or intellectual discussion
the concept of virginity no longer exists (this isnt to say that having your first sexual experience isnt significant, just the idea that the worth of the female body has changed afterwards)
girls and women are no longer sexual objectified, commodified, compartmentalizedÂ
female breasts are not deemed any more obscene than male breasts
by extension, there would be no inherently male/female bathing suits, as breasts would not be required to be covered
girls and women are neither expected nor forced to make modifications to their faces and bodies in order to safely and comfortably exist (makeup, high heels, tight clothes, shaving, hair dyeing, etc).
females existing without modification is not considered unfeminine, unladylike, unprofessional, lazy, dirty, sloppy, mentally unhealthy, etc and females are able to safely and comfortably exist while doing anything that today would be today considered âmasculineâ (short hair, body hair, suits, no makeup)
inversely, males are neither expected nor forced to avoid modifications, beautifying rituals, or anything today considered âfeminineâ in order to safely and comfortably exist (dresses, shaving makeup, heels, long hair, etc)
gender nonconformity is not pathologized (though there would be no such thing because there would be no gender roles
religions are no longer patriarchal/patriarchal religions are eliminated because it is understood and respected that women create life, not men
female experiences, statements, pain, and desires are valued and given credence
