Can I just say, I’m really liking the storylines they’re adding for all the other characters. They’ve been giving other characters other than Owen an actual solid storyline which I’m really appreciating. I’m glad the writers have been listening to their public 😁
Okay, so I get that people are upset that chenford isn’t like showing a lot of like sweet and cute moments but I think it’s very fitting for the type of people that they are. They’re characters don’t seem like the type to do a lot of that and besides the show is mostly of them during work, and it is a cop show, so it’s understandable that we don’t see so much chenford now that they are together. They are people in the 30’s and 40’s just living a normal life and we do see that they are progressing in the relationship. Like when we saw Tim had a key and that he sleeps over and is with Lucy. The writers let us know they are progressing but they are like a normal couple and coworkers at the same time. We’re not always going to get little cute moments from them. So while I understand the fans, I think the way they are going about it is actually pretty smart for the type of show and the type of characters they are
I felt so wrong when I literally jumped around and started giggling when I saw the preview for the next episode.
Is Carlos being held hostage? Yes.
Is Carlos being hurt? Also yes.
Is this something to be rejoicing about? No.

It's always TK getting hurt. All the Tarlos whump comes from TK. We FINALLY get to see it reversed. It'll be TK losing his shit and worrying about CARLOS for once.
Do I want Carlos to be hurt? No.
But do I want the absolute GOLDEN Tarlos angst and whump that'll come from it? Absofuckinlutely

actually not mentally prepared to see carlos try so hard to keep himself conscious and alert and fight back against his captors…….not prepared to see him hurt and drugged and sluggish and at the brink of death and thinking of his regrets and realize nobody is looking for him because they don’t know he did this…..not prepared for him to question his abilities and feel small and feel primal fear…..not prepared for him to just slump into tk’s arms when he’s found, not prepared for tk to shake and try to check him over and desperately press kisses to his head and hold him upright and revel in the fact that he’s hurt but he’s alive…..
Okay I’m actually super intrigued to see this. Because you until now, we’ve only ever seen Carlos worry about TK in this way. I’m excited to see what TK looks like when his significant other is in danger

Okay, I loved this because the show doesn’t usually get into politics but I love that they inserted this because it’s so true. I love how the show normalizes a lot of things but still addresses that there are these issue that existed or still exist.

Okay I know we had some jealous moments with Chris. But I need an entire episode of someone hitting on Lucy and Tim getting annoyed and jealous. I would love that. Idk, I feel like it would be amazing to watch and like different since they’re actually dating now
I have so much to talk about… But Tim prioritising Lucy over the job is so sexy of him. This is the same man who already rejected a promotion when she was a rookie… Who was ready to take a demotion and ended up taking a desk job where he will deal with lawyers of all things… Just so he can see Lucy at work and be with her. This is the same guy who didn't want to advance in his career because he loved patrol so much. Even when he took the sergeant's exam, his goal was to stay in patrol. But he's ready to give it up in a heartbeat for Lucy. Because they're serious… But also because she included him in the discussion and was ready to make a sacrifice as well. With Rachel and Ashley, they had already decided for him, without really asking his opinion. This time, it's not one-sided… It's an equal relationship. And Tim is not going to hesitate. Because Lucy is worth the effort. They both are. And so is their relationship.
