Ten reasons to adore the CRAZY KITTY AMONG LIBEROS who goes by the name NISHINOYA YUU
Okay I know what youâre all thinking. How many fucking more of these are you gonna do? Dont worry guys this is the last one I know youâre all tired of it by now but nishinoya is third in line for my favorite character so I had to do him before ending my little series of fangirl rants. Its been fun, so thanks for all the support along the way and the few followers I gained throughout this long, long process.
1. Heâs pretty serious about titles like âsenpaiâ or âsanâ which ultimately means he looks forward to being called senpai himself. And when he finally was he felt entitled to âmaturityâ and continued to do so every time he heard the words: ânishinoya senpaiâ.
2. Heâs a super little guy (i say that in admiration) but heâs one of the best players theyâve got, so watching other teams get all tense in response to his precise ass receives is the best thing ever.
3. Heâs aggressively hyper which is just perfect because heâs a smol guy with cute catty eyes and spiky hair to contrast it so watching him get all pumped up just makes my heart melt or beat rapidly
4. Heâs slightly hotheaded which is truly a good thing because, people tend to judge him by his appearance, and thatâs where his quick temper shines. He showed all those doubters, by scolding them at the top of his lungs. Donât you just love it when our kitty gets on the defensive?
5. Sometimes heâs hyped about the abilities of another teams libero or receiver but initially, the way he shows it is just the opposite. He might just stare at them wide eyed and not talk to them until they are thoroughly creeped out. What Iâm suggesting is, it seems like he has a strange way of showing admiration for players he doesnât know. Who knew our energetic and chatty little kitty could be awkward?
6. Heâs really intense when things get rough for their team. He does things that are so risky and on the borderline between hard and physically impossible, and against the rules from the looks of it, (but hey idfk i donât even play) but somehow he always pulls it off in the end and itâs so damn satisfying.
7. Heâs Loyal, yet stubborn. And by stubborn I mean, he goes with his own flow and stays true to his personal morals. He probably has this internal vow that heâll always have everyoneâs backs as long as theyâre man enough to pick themselves up after failure, but if even one of them arenât willing to do so and decides to leave, then he might too. The reason being is, itâs just not the team he vowed to protect⌠without all of them there (ToT)
8. Heâs just the right amount of confidence that they need. Heâs their backbone which you can clearly see every time he picks up a spike that he couldnât get before. He says heâll get it eventually and when he does it really boosts their morale. It even makes me feel like im a part of the team sometimes but fuck I donât even play.
9. He looks super fucking cool when he receives. I know i know that sounds immature and shallow of me to say but trust me, when you see it for yourself, youâll instantly agree. Itâs very hard not to talk about.
10. Heâs so skilled that heâs made a title for himself among other schools, but the intimidation that those schools would get upon seeing him for the first time is totally shattered when they see how immature he is at heart. I love that he remains childish no matter how advanced he gets as a Libero. I donât know about you but itâs super reassuring for me since I absolutely hate seeing characters grow up and mature, itâs just so saddening, but luckily I can count on nishinoya to never do that within his time on the show.
Ten reasons to cherish Ukai Keishin aka the CUTE CUSTARDY HAIRED COACH OF KARASUNO:
Coach Ukai is for sure my second favorite Haikyuu character and although heâs amazing, I feel like his greatness is a bit overlooked sometimes, which is why I was so motivated to write this. Without further ado, hereâs fangirl rant number two.
1. Heâs the contrast of his partner coach Takeda, whoâs an emotional roller coaster. For those of you who are new here, I think that gives you some hints as to how he acts. Heâs all about the teamsâ play and technique, and the other is there there for guidance and mental support.
2. He seems like a sketchy thug to everyone that doesnât know him because of his somewhat strange appearance and perhaps low pay job and smoking habit but heâs really just a lazy guy who probably had a lot of punk influences as a kid and has to help out his family business now, so in truth, no reason to be jumpy around him. Unless youâre the captain of Nekoma of course. They better watch out for our âflightless crowsâ.
3. He looks young but acts like a cranky run down grandparent. Just look at him when heâs working his morning shift or sitting in the store with his feet atop the desk and his cigarettes lit stinking up the room oof as if he has better things to do with his last âdecadeâ or so. And if youâre wondering where the cranky comes in, ask yourself, how many clerks can you think of thatâll stop whatever it is theyâre doing just to interrupt high school kidsâ antics? Yea, thatâs what I thought. But thatâs grandpa Ukai for ya, and anime logic.
4. Heâs passive, but passionate. At first you might suspect that he only plays because all the guys in his family history did too, but then you realize heâs actually coaching at Karasuno. The lazy, cranky Ukai changed his work shift to an earlier time just to do so. Not only that but in the beginning, he wanted nothing to do with coaching because it involved watching âspoiledâ âbrattyâ high school kids, and now heâs coaching, lecturing, and yelling at em like theyâre his grandchildren. All because he was drawn to the teamâs dynamic and potential after seeing them play only once. Yea they have unique players, and yea he wants karasuno to beat Nekomas ass, but itâs far fetched to assume that his passion had no part in his decision to stay by them.
5. The devious faces he makes when he meets a coach that he wants to beat the shit out of (only on court, unfortunatelyâŚ) is the most hilarious thing ever. And when heâs being devious, thatâs when you know that shits really gonna go down the next time his team encounters theirs. Not only is it hilarious but itâs hawt .
6. Heâs so engaged in volleyball since becoming their coach that it seems like he canât even focus on his job properly and sometimes he even gets startled by customers like whajnaw itâs his job and he still dont expect it. Why is that so damn cute?
7. Heâs not only passionate, but dedicated when it comes to coaching. He wants to lead them to nationals and make them a top school again to the point where heâs willing to drive hinata all the way over to his grandpa in the hills and stay there watching him play until heâs learned something from it. If you ask me it doesnât really look like he particularly likes his grandpa, but he respects his experience in coaching and wants to learn from it. Thatâs true dedication right there no matter how you look at it.
8. He probably has no filter and doesnât plan to anytime soon. The one time he tries to motivate them he relates a volleyball tactic to the feeling you get when drinking beer. Imagine if he tried motivating them all the time. Itâd probably look a little something like this.
9. Sometimes his students go to him for personal help, and when they do heâs so terribly awkward and at a loss for words that he eventually ends up shutting them down or stuttering and trying to stray away from the subject.
10. If you canât tell already, he loves his team like theyâre his little grand babies, but heâs obviously too embarrassed to say anything, and you know it because he yells at them with ease, but struggles to verbally compliment them, But internally, he does it pretty often. Both during matches, and practices. And when they made the biggest win of the season he was so touched that he actually said all the stuff that came to his mind, out loud, and face to face with them like a proud overjoyed grandparent whekwkwkkw okay I know Iâve said grand something like 4 times by now but I just canât help it. Suga and Daichi are the mother and father and Takeda and Ukai are grandma and grandpa and if you arent convinced on that last part then here.
GRANDPA UKAI IS WATCHING BATTLE AT THE GARBAGE DUMP!!!!!!!!!!

Some ways non-Mexicans can be respectful this DĂa de los Muertos, presented by your local trans Mexican:
Donât base and assume everything about this tradition from popular media like Coco, as great as it is, it was still ultimately produced by a white multi-billionaire company that exploits its workers that tried to take the audienceâs attention from actual Mexican cartoonists that wanted to make a movie about our tradition (yuppp, thatâs Disney for you)
If youâre not Mexican and you want to do Mexican sugar skull makeup, I really really encourage you to do just a regular skull instead. Although I am okay with people using this as long as they are respectful and understand the roots and culture behind it, I know a lot of Mexicans that are not and I support their stance since I am very wary of non-Mexicans using them.
Donât make jokes about this day, as someone that actually has deceased family from Mexico and plans to celebrate this, I cannot stress enough how disrespectful this
Educate yourself about our traditions if you want to, but donât pretend to know more than actual Mexicans please
Donât mess with our ofrendas please. Again, super disrespectful.
Actually donât mess with anything related to this day, not even flowers of cempasĂşchil or sugar skull. Period.
Donât dismiss our tradition as a dumb superstition or anything like that. For many of us this day is really important, including myself, and that is entirely disrespectful towards us and our cultures (you shouldnât dismiss any holidays/special days for other cultures either!)
Above all, educate yourself and instead of making this about you, use this day to highlight Mexican voices rather than your own.
Thank you! Gracias! Feliz dĂa de los muertos!!!
Non-Mexicans are encouraged to reblog, without comments

Bringing this back due to recent mcr events
Glad he spoke about this. I just wish fandom could stay away from his personal life and also stop putting him on a pedestal all the time. He isnât perfect, he wonât always be woke about everything, and let me just address the elephant in the room here too: heâs not always gonna date the kinda people we want him to be dating.
Be a fan anyway and enjoy the work and admire him for that. This man is incredibly kind and open to fans, after everything I donât think many actors would still be that way. We need to cherish it, guys.
Preach.. Also its high time some of y'all stop digging up the past of anyone he chooses to date and stop acting like y'all bathe in milk and honey.. Heâs wayyyyyyyy to good to his fans than any other celeb out there so ffs stop taking it for granted
A+ response and commentary. Celebrities are still people. Theyâre gonna make mistakes and even think/do things you might not like. Thereâs no such thing as perfection and this image that you place on them is just thatâan image youâve created. Real life is different. Let people live and be appreciative of how kind he always tries to be.
Iâm not dead :))))) ( enjoy my 5 chins x)
Reblog if you think asexuality is a legitimate sexuality.
I'm trying to prove something.
Reblog if your blog is a safe place for asexuals.
Considering i am asexual and my partner and alot of my friends are on the ace spectrum too
Abso-fucking-lutely
honestly some of yâall want a significant other so badly and canât understand why you canât find one, but have no sense of boundaries or healthy expectations of what a relationship is like. in a committed long-term partnership you get left on read, you wait for texts back, and you can forget about each other when youâre busy. sometimes you fall asleep without saying goodnight and sometimes youâre too caught up to text each other before 6pm. thatâs how it is. thinking that you canât be deeply, beautifully in love and still wait more than â1.75 hoursâ for a text back is such an unhealthy and unreasonable expectation of what love is, and you shouldnât be in a relationship if you canât allow the other person to exist on their own apart from you. if youâre projecting your anxieties and insecurities onto a partner who doesnât even exist yet, then you arenât ready for one.
Mom: You donât shave your legs OR your armpits? Me: No Mom: Are you serious? Personal hygiene! Me: Yeah? Personal hygiene? Then make my brother shave too.
That fact that this is actually getting notes is so beautiful, man.
I actually told this to my mom when she told me to shave. She said that it was different for my older brother to grow hair because he was a boy I just kinda stared at her for a minute
đ¨shaving is not hygienic itâs cosmeticđ¨
I cant shave down to the skin bc it actually hurts my skin but even with trimmed body hair, i STILL get the ~~personal hygiene~~ bullshit. I am clean, my body hair is clean, thereâs nothing gross about clean hair. To reiterate:
Shaving is not hygiene, itâs cosmetic

Alternatives that will hopefully make you think twice about harming yourself:
Think about how you donât want scars
Treat yourself nicely
Remember that you donât have to hurt yourself just because youâre thinking about self harm
Create a safe place to go
Acknowledge that self harm is harmful behavior: say âI want to hurt myselfâ rather than âI want to cutâ
Repeat to yourself âI donât deserve to be hurtâ even if you donât believe it
Remember that you always have the choice not to cut: itâs up to you what you do
Think about how you may feel guilty after self harming
Remind yourself that the urge to self harm is impulsive: you will only feel like cutting for short bursts of time
Avoid temptation
Get your friends to make you friendship bracelets: wear them around your wrists to remind you of them when you want to cut
Be with other people
Make your own list of things to do instead of self harm

Choose your way of thinking, try to resist following old thinking patterns
The Butterfly project- draw a butterfly on the place(s) that you would self harm and if the butterfly fades without self-harming, it means it has lived and flown away, giving a sense of achievement. Whereas if you do self-harm with the butterfly there; you will have to wash it off. If that does happen, you can start again by drawing a new one on. You can name the butterfly after someone you love.
Write the name of a loved one [a friend, family member, or anyone else who cares about you] and write their name where you want to self harm. When you go to self harm remember how much they care and wouldnât want you to harm yourself.
think about what you would say to a friend who was struggling with the same things you are and try to be a good friend to yourself.
Make a bracelet out duct tape, and put a line on it every day (Or any period of time) you go without self harm. When itâs full of lines, take it off and make a chain out of all the bracelets and hang it up somewhere where you can be reminded of your great progress.
Alternatives that give the illusion of seeing something similar to blood:
Draw on yourself with a red pen or body paint, or go to a site such as this, where you âcutâ the screen (be aware that some users may find this triggering, so view with caution)
Cover yourself with plasters where you want to cut
Give yourself a henna or fake tattoo
Make âwoundsâ with makeup, like lipstick
Take a small bottle of liquid red food coloring and warm it slightly by dropping it into a cup of hot water for a few minutes. Uncap the bottle and press its tip against the place you want to cut. Draw the bottle in a cutting motion while squeezing it slightly to let the food color trickle out.
Draw on the areas you want to cut using ice that youâve made by dropping six or seven drops of red food color into each of the ice-cube tray wells.
Paint yourself with red tempera paint.
âCutâ your skin with nail polish (it feels cold, but itâs hard to get off)

Make lists of everything such as blessings in your life
Make a notebook of song lyrics that you relate to
Call ahotline
Write a letter to someone telling them how you feel (but you donât have to send it if you decide not to)
Start a grateful journal where everyday you write down three: good things that happened/ things that you accomplished/ are grateful for/ made you smile. Make sure the journal is strictly for positive things. Then when you feel down you can go back and look at it.
Alternatives to make you feel a sense of reality:
try slapping countertops
getting fresh air
going to a bookstore or a music store and just getting lost in it
take selfies
play guitar, feel the strings under your fingers
I think I am, therefore I am
Read a book, get lost in the unreality of that, and then remember your reality
Talking to someone, asking for reassurance
a run or walk (especially through a âpretty placeâ)
use one of the âsensationâ alternatives
teenager: *is good at math, bad at the arts*
society: oh thatâs okay, not everyoneâs artsy lol
teenager: *is bad at math, good at the arts*
society: you lazy fuck
