I thought this as a joke but now I'm genuinely curious. Is there an actual reason or some kind of scientific explanation as to why tadpoles bare a striking resemblance to sperm? I am not a scientist. realistic answer: convergent evolution! nature needed an easy shape to make 1: lots of small things and 2: things that swim fast. it's coincidence that they both evolved this way, but it's for maximum efficiency!
