my biggest piece of advice for fellow selfshippers is to not be self-deprecating at all. its very alluring to make jokes about it at your own expense so you can feel like you're laughing along with people instead of being laughed at, but its just you beating yourself down

this is why i try not to call myself/my interests "cringe" and especially i try to not diminish my enjoyment of these things

ive been a bit fucked lately due to adjusting to my meds schedule. i try to keep tagging consistent on this blog but some f/os just dont have emojis yet so its honestly whatever. i dont want something i do for fun turning into a chore so im trying to avoid having my brain latch onto Rules that dont actually matter
