I feel disillusioned with the alterhuman community again.

I feel it focuses too much on “here are the bad things to look out for” and like. Look. I’m not saying we SHOULDN’T be aware of potential harm. Obviously not.

But I feel like it’s disproportionate compared to talking about the good things. Or like, you can’t talk about the good things without adding a million disclaimers that someone had a bad experience one time. It’s exhausting and makes me feel pressure to act performative when I just wanna talk about what makes me happy.
